Gathered in Sharm unexpectedly. Seeing a last-minute tour for 2 adults + 1 child 11 years old for 29.000 rubles to this hotel for a week. I really wanted to Sharm, after the January arrival in Hurghada.
The hotel is located in Ras Nasrani near the airport, so the transfer was not long, they brought tourists to Hilton Sharks Bay, Tropicana Grand Oasis and Corinchia Tyrant and we were actually the last ones in Montazah. We put on bracelets all and sent for lunch. After dinner, they immediately issued cards and keys to the room. No one extorted money for a good room (as described in all reviews on all sites), at the reception desk there is a sign for a room overlooking the pool, an additional charge of 15 euros, with a sea view 25 euros per day per room. If you need it - pay, I personally don’t, I didn’t come to sit in the room, went to see everything in the room was working, cleaned and settled right away. The view from the room was on Korinkhia being completed, there is no noise, they don’t build it like that yet, overlooking the pool on the entire floor in the 2nd building there were no 3 full beds (only in the direction of Korinkhia).
The hotel is located on a hill and there was always a warm chic wind, I think in the summer it will only be a plus, but in the winter months this hotel needs to be crossed off the list. The territory is green and well-groomed, beautifully illuminated in the evening. Since the territory is divided into 2 lines, you can get to the beach either through the road, which does not drive vehicles at all and downhill for another 4-5 minutes (as everyone actually does), or through an underground passage, but after it there are many many steps. You can return by electric car.

Beach. The sand is white and fine, very pleasant. Sun loungers and umbrellas abound at any time. The pontoon did not burden the length, in April only one side was closed for descending into the sea due to the current to Melia Sinai, you can walk along the coast to this hotel and swim there if you really want to. In the direction of the Baron and Coral Sea Imperial, swim as much as you want, from the pontoons, from the beach and pools, no one drove these hotels out. The current is sometimes felt from the Baron towards Montazah. I will not write about the reef, everyone already knows that it is gorgeous. On the beach there is a playground, very beautiful. At high tide, you can go into the sea more than a generation, or wallow in the waves.
Pools. The lower one on the beach, small but comfortable, the water is not heated, but in April the temperature is already normal in it. There are enough sun loungers. The upper pool at the main restaurant is large and there is a children's section, it is also not heated, they are not allowed to jump (not upside down, of course). Not a single pool smells of chlorine, there was no dirt in them.
Nutrition. Everything is fresh. Meat, chicken, fish in abundance, vegetables were present, sweets too, not so many mixed salads (actually no one eats them), side dishes as usual. Soup. Diet food was present. There are no french fries and pizza - I write this for those who have children. Tea and coffee, as well as hibiscus and yuppies in the restaurant, are poured all by themselves. Alcoholic drinks are brought by waiters, maybe someone had to wait, we don’t, I don’t drink alcohol and it didn’t burden me. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, the waiter girl offers fresh juices - orange, guava, mango, strawberries for $ 1, they actually reveled in them. Fruits were present in the restaurant - tangerines, bananas, grapefruits, guava, dates. There are no juices from the packages. For breakfast, they bake pancakes, make scrambled eggs, and eat yogurt.
Snacks on the beach from 11-00 to 13-00 at the bar in an assortment of buns with coffee, tea. In the pool bar at the main restaurant, the same only from 15-00 to 17-00. Bottled water is given at the pool bar, the main restaurant, against the signature of the number of people in the room, 1 bottle of 0.5 liters + 1 bottle in the room on the day of arrival. There is a fish restaurant on the beach, you can dine once by appointment - we haven’t been, I can’t give information.

The animation is not very active, rather unobtrusive, no one will drag you by the hands. The standard presence of water aerobics, oriental and club dances on the beach, stretching, volleyball. In the evening, too, everything is standard Miss and Mr. Montazah, karaoke, comedies, a dance competition and an Egyptian show, all at the level of children's and teens' perception. Next, an imitation of a disco in an English pub at the reception (that's who I sympathized with, it's living in building 1 next to this disco). Then they offer to take you to one of the clubs in Naama for a fee.
A lot was written in the reviews that in bars they are not allowed to take out buns and drinks outside the bar area, I did not notice this, and I also read about 1 drink in one hand, I also did not see this. During our vacation, there were mostly Italians, and not noisy ones (I immediately remember the Tropicana grand oasis with Italian emotional family scenes and screams), but quiet family ones. Russians were at most 7 percent, 2-3 rich Arab families, and I liked it.
Room cleaning. Cleanly, they twisted something there and folded it beautifully, once they didn’t bring towels, they left a dollar - everything appeared right away.
The hotel is located far from the highway, so immediately forget the cheap minibus ride, only a taxi to Naama 5 euros, to the old city 10-12 dollars. We did not sign up for a free bus to Naama at the reception, so I can’t say anything.
In the evening you can take a walk along the Coral Sea Imperial and the Baron, there is also a market there, the prices are adequate, if you know the price of goods in the Old Market, you can lower it to the desired level, they go to bargain. You can walk around the hotels, go to the disco. There is free wi-fi at the reception at the Baron Hotel, no one will drive it away and say nothing, in Montazah there is wi-fi, it even catches in the rooms, but the price is exorbitant 45 pounds for half an hour.
If you ask me - would I return to this hotel - I would boldly answer - YES. I would also recommend it to my friends. You can safely go to it.
