My husband and I went at the end of June. Our honeymoon. I’ll start with a not very pleasant one: the travel agency promised us that the hotel would definitely note that we were newlyweds (I was dreaming), no one noted or even noticed, they settled in a room with two separate beds - it was a shame. But turning to our guide Nabil (from Tez Tour), the issue was resolved, for which many thanks to him, they settled in a room on the second floor with a large bed and a working air conditioner. They wanted to be closer to the sea, but only Italians are accommodated there or yes extra. a fee of 35 euros per day (where do these prices come from? ). The second negative is the drinks. "Ala juice" - diluted yupi, fanta, sprite, cola are almost always diluted with water, alcohol is disgusting, you can only drink beer in the main restaurant at lunch and dinner, everything that is more or less decent, for money. You can buy fresh juice for $1, but fresh juice is poured from plastic bottles, what is the point of fresh juice then? We took tonic from jars and added grapefruit juice, there they are very good. sweet and juicy. The food is so-so, 3+: chicken or beef (rarely), fish, stewed vegetables, and everything else, as always in Egypt. After dinner it is already dark and I start to gnaw on local mosquitoes, so take mosquito repellent with you, even though they are poisoned with acrid smoke - it does not help.
Now about the good: wonderful sea, corals, beach. We went on an excursion to Ras Muhamed to look at the coral reserve, our home turned out to be on top, so you can go to Rotana for impressions in the underwater world. The sea is not very far from the restaurant, 400-500 meters, but down the descent, and home I had to go up, obviously there is not enough escalator : -)))) But the view from above is awesome - the sea is azure and very beautiful. The weather was excellent, hot with a cooling breeze, the only pity was that there were waves on the sea and it was hard to swim, but it was excellent in fins. By the way, you can easily do without coral slippers.
The hotel in my opinion does not pull on 4, or "3+" or "4-". Personally, I wouldn't go back there again. For those who are traveling for the first time, it will be with a bang.
