Rested with a friend Lorchik from 23 to 30 July. As soon as Egypt got into the green zone, they did not think for a long time. Marsa Alam is still closed, we decided to visit Ras Nasrani bay. We flew because of the underwater world, we were already here, we knew that we would not be disappointed. We were looking for a whale shark, did not meet. And in Kokord at that time people saw her! So next time!
We arrived at the hotel at 4.30 in the morning, settled immediately without additional payments on line 1. We paid for line 2. Now ours and foreigners are accommodated on line 1, and on 2 Egyptians.
Nice room with side sea view. It is the same to go to the sea and to the restaurant. We went down to the sea along the side path to the left of the rooms, it is not convenient to climb in the heat. The territory is bald, there is little greenery. In the evenings we went to the neighboring Baron, there is beauty. Shops are there.
The food at first was modest, but quite tasty. Then it got better. No frills, but sweet table - on top. I couldn't get past! There were fruits, they ate too much grapes.
Alcohol, as everywhere, no better, no worse. Who has not tried it yet - anise tincture of UZO with tonic, a pleasant cocktail. The bars make delicious mojitos. Special thanks to the bartenders Aziz and Shaban!
The staff is friendly and always helpful. We had a problem with the refrigerator - they replaced it. But it still didn't freeze well. The air conditioner was fixed right away.
There were few people, no one on the beach in the morning. The beauty! For some reason they were allowed on the pontoon from 8.00. We either agreed with the security guard or went to the pontoon of the Baron and Sensatori (it was closed, but we were quietly let through).
The reef is beautiful, especially from Baron and Sensatori to the lighthouse (on the left, if facing the sea). They didn’t reach the lighthouse, sometimes the current, sometimes it’s muddy.
Animation has just appeared, yoga was held on the beach, etc. In the evening, the Egyptians staged their shows on line 2. When they parted (a lot came over the weekend), only music was playing near the main pool. I was pleased with the local animator Fox, he always joked and made me laugh.
