In Sharm for the 5th time, we always choose hotels in calm bays and with interesting reefs. They were always happy with everything. This time, Coral Beach attracted attention - so many laudatory reviews, the rating is awesome (7.9-8! By today's times), how did we pass it by? And it’s not in vain that they passed !! ! Let's say right away that not everything is so bad, but ...The price seems to be adequate (as for the New Year season and in comparison with our favorite hotels), someone even wanted to give a fifth star in the reviews. Kapets! What are 5 stars? Is that in the sky above the hotel - this is all that shines for him, no offense, just honestly. The reviews here are clearly filtered, which is why the rating is chic. We will be surprised if our review is posted. So let's try it : )

Well, okay, an old hotel, we understand, it doesn’t matter. But it is very revealing, from the very first stumble and sprained ankle. And after all, they weren’t in heels, and they weren’t drunk ???
They settled right away (of course, the guests here are like a rolling ball, at first we thought that we were all alone here - at least howling like a wolf, which was a lot of fun. ) Reserved room: standard sea view, ok, we got it. 1st floor, conditional sea view. Yes, at some point, of course, your eyes will stumble upon the view of the sea, but you still have to not be distracted by the gravel of neighboring roofs (what a beauty, damn it) and the conduits of neighboring rooms. They are huge, noisy (of course, old people, after all), I really would not want to breathe such air.

In general, we have air conditioner view. The roar of this neighboring conder and the water that did not leave the sink for an hour after the first (!!!
) hand washing, as well as the general gloom and smell of the room, made us go to the reception again (the distance is not close, but it's even good, there is where to "walk"). We decided to sacrifice rest after the plane and continued to suffer from hunger in pursuit of a more cheerful number. Here's $10 for you, could we have a better room, please? Well, we moved to a more cheerful room (there is nowhere more fun, disco-karaoke is just on the terrace under the balcony ??? ), the view from the window is brighter, the 3rd floor, after all, the sea view is also better exposed - finally beauty! Thank you for moving. In the evenings, however, the room is dusk - at least gouge out your eye, (there are bulbs up to one place), the lack of working sockets ...Still, we found one adequate (of course, in an inconvenient place, but thanks for that). Still the same water that never leaves, but already in the shower...It's not scary, we adapt quickly.

): ha, as they wrote, everyone here is friendly, except for the guys at the distribution, there is complete darkness, except for one smile, the rest - as if you came to their house and beg for food, I didn’t want to come up with this plate, to be honest. Especially in the morning, in the area of ​ ​ pancake omelettes. If you are in a hurry somewhere - do not wait for omelets at 7.05-7.10 in the morning, they haven’t woken up yet, haven’t swayed, they haven’t found oil ...But they work from 7.00. Hm. OK. In what language do not apply - stone faces. Usually these are the funniest guys, while you are waiting for an omelette - jokes, smiles. But not here. Well, no - and no. And we can sulk, frown, look like a wolf ...think about it. Yes, and we don't need your omelettes, the main thing is coffee: ) Well, why not be friendly? So hard? Don't need a job? This is the image of the hotel, after all.

Here, every guest is worth its weight in gold, and in general, if on vacation you will be rude and rude for your own money, then what for such a vacation.
The smiling friendliness of some was replaced by coldness on the 3rd day, of course, they did not shower them with dollars. Tipping immediately did their job. Not sorry, but not for what it was. For smiles? We also know how to distribute them, and for free. They wore cappuccino to themselves, they didn’t drink alcohol, we don’t favor local yupi. Not all waiters, however, are like that, there are just sensible smarties and not beggars who do their job with soul and inexhaustible enthusiasm. I want to encourage such people, and not importunate flies with feigned smiles and evil looks at your back, who forcibly stick this UPI in you, I tried to carry it, give me money. Damn, everyone is spinning as best they can, but such moments are extremely unpleasant.

Another funny thing: a person sits down with 2 plates, things, a drink at the table, ready to eat. Then suddenly the waiter runs up and tells him that the table is occupied. wtf? Of the hundreds of identical tables, this one? How to know? There are no broken flowers (for VIP persons) on it, there are no "reserved" signs.
It is not standing at the window overlooking the sea ...What the hell?? ! A person is embarrassed, surprised, fussing, dragging all his plates and belongings to the next table ...Honestly, they would not move in principle! Well, what gift of foresight should a visitor have in order to guess that this absolutely ordinary table is "occupied". By whom??? ? those who once sat down for him and showed the dollar? Maybe. Here 5 people dine an hour in total, there are a lot of tables, do not disgrace yourself, the service is awesome!


Food...oh food. Finally, we visited the hotel, about which they say "you will not stay hungry. " Well, it’s like that, everyone has their own concept of satiety, we are not picky, we didn’t starve, and is it good, does it swim perfectly on a half-empty stomach? . We eat little and without pretensions, but even we were not always satisfied with the local buffet. Nowhere else (even in Egypt) was there such a poor thing in the canteen.
NOT BAD, moreover - delicious, but the gloomy guys at the distribution put you, for example, a spoonful of potatoes, half of which hangs on the same spoon and does not come off, and they don’t even look at you, you stand there like a beggar, waiting for the second one ( How dare? ) Don't expect a lot of variety from this 4 - focus on the category below. I don’t know what food is like in 3, but it’s not 4 for sure!!!

In fact, the whole service is based on a couple of good-natured smiles, the rest ...I didn’t want to see them every day. And they want people to come to them? Does not look like it.

All inclusive is a bit strange here. Ask for water at the bar - only in a glass, a bottle is rare and not for everyone. Well, of course there is cola, exhausted and warm, well, we won’t ask for more, thank you, well, there is a sprite. 2 types of "yupi". Someone and local burda (wah, "cocktails" for happiness, of course. Snacks, chips, ice cream - no, not that hotel, obviously.
Maybe a quarantine failure, maybe it was like that before, maybe the bartender was not in the mood ...Soups, delicious Egyptian cream soups, here too for a C grade, sometimes even inedible. This is the first time we have complained about food, but forgive me as it is. Baking: just dough, flour, dryness, staleness (in the first days of our stay, this was especially annoying: where was it all stored and for how long to smell like that? why??? ? What went wrong??? ) We were always amazed by the variety, right there - sadness ...After the new year, however, it became a little better, here 4 has been outlined, yes. Perhaps the budget is different, perhaps the inspections of strict uncles help (more often). And pastries diversified, and oriental sweets began to appear.

I even have a second name for this hotel "Fly Beach")) Flies in armies, annoy, drive you crazy, vacationers twitch like paralytics and beat flies with caps, arms, legs, heads, spewing not the most flattering words. Sometimes these flies are poisoned, but in vain.

Animation lovers: you are definitely here, there are more animators than vacationers. The guys are hard workers, they don’t have a free minute, there are so many gestures for a handful of guests - we were frankly sorry for them. They are also guest relations - there are no special consultants in the hotel, the guys help with all questions. Ironically: disco, karaoke, contests - the least we needed here. We didn't come here for that. But I had to not sleep with them, karaoke lovers carried and sang until half past midnight.

On the beach, acid music from a wheezing speaker was annoying, really blowing your brains out. Well on a fig so loudly and such?? ? Why the same crap for 3p in a row.
