Chose for the price and the beach. I read the latest reviews and was really worried that I went to Coral Beach Resort Tiran in vain.
But it's not all bad.
We checked in late, after 22-00. We got room 502. At first, the musty smell in the room frightened me, but after talking with neighbors, a young couple from Belarus, we found out that half an hour of air conditioning eliminated this problem. Although the receptionist offered to change the room to another, we refused. The room is not big, obviously after cosmetic repairs. Plumbing tired but serviceable, shampoos, soap added every day. Cleaning tolerable (no slabadey, but clean), at a convenient time for you. Kettle, a set of sugar kava tea for $10 all the time.
In the morning, the view from our terrace turned out to be just a feast for the eyes - the bay and the island of Tiran. Morning cava is only there, the view is excellent. By the way, most of the rooms on the second floor have a sea view.
The hotel itself is not very green, but the garden is trying to grow something on the sand. The hotel has seven lines cascading to the sea. There are three paths - the left one looks like an industrial zone, the central one past the amphitheater, the pool and along the greenest zone, and the right one with awesome sea views.
The food is adequate, but very bland. Obligatory grill menu in the evenings. I went for breakfast and dinner, it's hot at lunch, and it's satisfying enough. Few fruits - apple melon watermelon. The first hotel where there were no fresh dates at all. With a late check-in, they organized a late snack for us. When leaving, there were no problems with lunch, snacks on the beach and cocktails at the bar. Very pleasant and smiling staff. Especially pleased M. Mansur in the main restaurant. Knows a dozen languages at an elementary level and is very helpful.
