I was in Egypt with my daughter (10 years old) for the fourth time, my sister and her son (7 years old) were with us. We flew in a four, because before that we were twice in fours (Sol Sharm, Sol Cyrene - by the way, very good hotels), and everything suited us there, except for the corals - there were no living ones and there were few fish near the beach. This time I chose a hotel with live corals, as we are fond of snorkeling. There are no complaints about the sea - it is beautiful, there are thousands of fish, we saw those that were not seen anywhere else, and even a turtle was once observed.
Now about the hotel. This is the worst hotel I've ever been (including hotels in Turkey, Tunisia, Europe). The first step is settlement. At the reception, Ham Hassan, who is trying to settle in the building farthest from the beach, and if you want closer, pay extra $ 10 per day. We refused to pay, asked for two rooms next to each other (so that it would be more convenient for the children to run to each other), he settled us for 5 hours (from 9 am to 2.30 pm), said - there are no rooms.
We stood near the reception until he gave us the keys to the rooms in building 7 (the farthest from the beach), after looking at the rooms, we returned the keys and said - look for more options. At 14.30 he "surrendered" and gave us 2 rooms in a quiet building closer to the sea - building 3A. But the rooms are on the 1st floor. It seems to be not bad, but - huge ants in the room that climb on you during sleep ... I had to put up with the ants, cheers, they settled us)) Further - the staff, as other tourists have already noted, are louts still those - they constantly shout and swear , you can’t go anywhere on the beach - you went down to the water (not along the pontoon, but to the shore) - a whistle, a cry, took the towels to the sunbeds, which for some reason they fenced with a rope - again a cry, swearing. There is always something missing in bars - either beer, or Pepsi, or seven apa. They pour half a glass in bars, they ignore your requests, but these are all trifles. Compared to the main restaurant. If there was just a small choice, we would have resigned ourselves - ok, we didn’t come to eat, but to swim in the sea.

BUT - THE FOOD IS DISAPPOINTED. That is, cucumbers are served the day before yesterday, sluggish, they stink of acid, pasta is the same, they even managed to spoil the dough for pancakes for breakfast - pancakes are bitter. Tomatoes for 12 days were cut simply into plates twice. Grilled vegetables served once - I chewed the eggplant and spit it out - bitter-sour, spoiled! Beer is sour, meat is given one piece per plate, fish every other day, from edible - rice and bread. And then - bread is baked every three days. Food if suddenly not spoiled, then tasteless. We often skipped lunches and dinners, ate boiled eggs, buns, butter and jam taken during breakfast, and went to the Old City (FAREZ super restaurant) for dinner. On the beach, many tourists said that they had stomach problems. We managed not to get poisoned, because we sniffed every product, didn’t eat salads, hardly ate at all, and even drank Creon and activated charcoal every day.
In general, I do not advise anyone to go there - the restaurant is really dangerous for health. Of the less dangerous, but also sad, - in the description of the all inclusive concept it is said: ice cream every day from 15 to 17. IT'S A LIE. It was given at lunch only 3 times in the 12 days that we were. Moreover, they put 2 balls in a cup, and that's it, go, go from here. Racial discrimination also killed: 70% of the contingent are Egyptians, before whom the staff creeps. For the rest - screams, abuse, we did not hear either "good morning" or "good day". The sister on the last day was poured with red wine by the waiter, so the staff refused to look for detergent to wash the white skirt, they said, "this is Egyptian wine, it is washed off. " By the way, they washed the skirt, which confirmed our suspicions: instead of wine, they gave us a diluted powder ... The rooms are cleaned up, they forget to put either a towel for the legs or shower gel.
If my review is read by the esteemed PEGAS, with whom we flew, please kindly stop giving travel agents false information about the hotel - this is not just a high-class four, as they say, this is not a hotel at all, but some kind of nightmare. We rested only thanks to our optimism and constant swims in the sea to the reefs with masks. And one more thing - I think that $ 1.500 for 11 nights (adult room + child) is too expensive for SUCH a place. Next time we won’t go to Sharm for anything, the service there is to hell, but what kind of service - to stay alive!
