My husband and I rested at the Delta Sharm Hotel (Egypt, Sharm El Sheikh) for a week this spring. Impressions are very contradictory, so I will divide my story into 2 parts - impressions about the hotel (city, sea) and impressions about the tour operator.
1. Delta Sharm Hotel.
The hotel is called a hotel, but in reality it is a rather extensive landscaped area with small separate 2-storey houses, which are rooms. We got a great room - 2 rooms (one connected by a studio with a kitchen) with 2 air conditioners, a TV, there was even a refrigerator and a stove. The rooms are all clean, tidy, bright and comfortable. There was also a nice balcony with a table and chairs. Towels, shower gels - everything is included as usual. Plus a free safe. There is free WI-FI!!!!!!
They can clean up every day.

Territory. To be honest, we were even surprised how such an oasis can be created in the desert. There are a lot of flowers, various palm trees, waterfalls, gazebos, lawns, fountains, there are even playgrounds, etc. Very green and very very beautiful!!! See the photo!!!
Pools - there are as many as 12 of them in the Delta ! ! Sometimes it was very nice to take a break from the sea, noise, lying by the pool. They are all different on the territory, there is even a jacuzzi and a slide. But we especially liked the quiet 2-level pool right in front of our room. There is also a large central pool - it's just huge! ! and also very beautiful. Towels are provided for everyone at the pools, there are many sunbeds and umbrellas.
Food - Buffet. I read a lot of mediocre reviews and I can say that it was written by snickering scoundrels))) The food is just fine! I am glad that we did not take all inclusive but half board - because otherwise I would not have fit into jeans after the trip)) The food is good and very varied.
Animation - I'll be honest, the animation is almost non-existent. but we went to swim in the sea and relax and not play outdoor games. There are discos in the hotel, plus discos from the hotel on the beach, exercises, water aerobics (hi and thanks to coach Lena - a very sociable and sweet girl). In general, you can find fault, but we simply did not care about this animation. We could take ourselves there.

The sea - here there is still a fly in the ointment. The hotel is located not on the 1st or even on the 2nd line of the sea. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get to the beach from the hotel. The hotel has 2 beaches - coral and normal. One is located in the old city, the other (coral) - in Naama Bay. There are buses from the hotel in the morning. And in the afternoon - respectively from the beach to the hotel. But, with leathering, there are many people who want it, and buses go only 3 times there and 3 times back..... (I'm talking about the coral beach now) and for the first time there was not even a scandal, because buses like our gazelles and everyone who wants to get into the first bus does not fit. so I advise you to go 2 or 3m in advance. On the beach - sunbeds, towels, bar, massage, etc. There were more fish in the sea than water))) very beautiful. We took a taxi back from the beach. It's 2 dollars (10 Egyptian pounds) so we didn't even bother adjusting to the bus schedule).

Part 2 - TOUR OPERATOR
Our tour operator was Anex Tour (or travel, I don’t remember)

We were met at the airport, taken by bus to the hotel. We saw the number one guide once. And the meeting consisted in the fact that the guide told us a little about the country and customs, about the currency and all sorts of such trifles, but for some reason most of her story was occupied by a story about excursions and how it is necessary to take them ONLY THROUGH THEIR FIRM. She talked about each excursion for 10 minutes. we are already tired of listening... She said urgently to buy them right now, who decided what she would order from her.
We listened to this nonsense and calmly after 2 days bought it elsewhere, but 2 times cheaper than what was offered in the ANEX tour.
after that, the guide disappeared, then the guide was changed for us. in general, we still didn’t see or hear him, so we didn’t worry too much.
And then things got interesting. . .
The day before the flight home, we went to the reception to see the departure lists. And they found that the flight, stated in the contract and electronic tickets for 12 days, was rescheduled for 8 pm. The next day, after we had to vacate the rooms at 12, I started digging. Who is to blame and what should we do now? The guide showed up instead of 10 o'clock in the morning at 12. And helped all those evicted only by offering to extend the rental of rooms for $ 50. Some did just that.

I dug. Called the airline, wrote to the airline and read the legal details of such charter cases. Of us (about 40-50 people), most of us had a burnt-out working day, plus some had connections to trains and planes to their hometowns, which also burned out. After a showdown with the airline, it turned out that this flight was not at all rescheduled, but planned. And according to the schedule, it always flies at this time. that is, ANEX TOUR simply indicated deliberately incorrect information in the contract. I will continue to deal with them. I wonder what will come of it... Well, in the end, while we were riding the bus to the airport, our already 3rd guide told us that they say check-in for departure takes place at counters 27-28! (REMEMBER!! ! STANDS 27 and 28, YOU ARE DEAR GUESTS THERE) after which we successfully hung out at these counters, all 50 people, while check-in for our flight had already begun at counters 1 and 2. and if it were not for the airport employee, we would have been waiting there. In general, ANEX tour is the most terrible incompetent people...
Dear friends, in the end I can say that the hotel is just great, if I go again, I will definitely go there.
