Their holidays are back today! The hotel was chosen for a long time, for a good price and according to reviews on the site, we settled on the Delta. Our operator Anex Tour. Impressions are ambiguous - everything seems to be OK, on time and without problems, but there is little concern for us.
The hotel turned out to be exactly as in the reviews - plus I studied their website.
A huge territory - not even a hotel, but a village. Some of the houses were sold to the Egyptians and foreigners, the rest - the hotel. White fresh 2-storey houses with red doors and drowning in flowers - the first impression that you are in Greece. The impression is also confirmed by the abundance of amazingly colored cats - they are very loved here. And about 1 pool nearby there is a cage with monkeys.

There are 12 swimming pools on the territory for every taste: one is completely children's 40 cm in the children's corner, one is 80 cm heated, one with a slide, a huge central one, and pools with a jacuzzi. In 4 of them bars, you can order water and cocktails for free. Towels, sun loungers - of course. There are places everywhere, so you can immediately choose a pool near you or to your liking.
They feed very well. There is always meat and fish, a lot of sweets, cakes and puddings, a separate bar with pasta and pasta, soups. On our arrival, the dining room was moved to another building due to renovations, so it was just magical there - a large hall + terrace. The waiters are very friendly, they will bring any cocktail you order - we drank wine + sprite, rum-cola, brandy-cola, etc.
In the evening, candlelight dinner.
Delta beach.
Sandy beach, small. Sunbeds under the roof and in the sun, drinks for a fee, towels are provided. There is also a massage service, a tattoo, for a fee.
We were not lucky, we arrived just in time for the second invasion of sharks and managed to swim only 1 time, when the red flag was raised with us for another week. The coral reefs on the beach are simply gorgeous. We deliberately climbed the neighboring yarns on both sides - such reefs are only on the adjoining ones. A sea of fish, sponges, sufficient depth just off the coast. To swim again, we took an excursion to Abu Dhabi (jeeps + camels + tea from Bedouins + swimming in a blue hole). I liked the tour very much, the price + pleasure ratio is the most successful.
We went to the beach both by the hotel bus (everyone got in) and by local transport. It is very sad to look at our compatriots who are too lazy to walk 2 steps, they need to be brought to the beach, and also fanned. The minibus runs every minute, for 1 pound it brings you to the hotel. A taxi costs 10-15 pounds, but let's not change. Same price for Old Town and Naama Bay. If you don't want to wait for the group, sit down and go yourself for a penny.
There is a supermarket near the hotel, there are cheap fruits and arafatki (!!! ) for only 10 pounds (less than $ 2), although everywhere it’s 50 and 70. It’s not clear why this is so, but they are super there!

Their negative: when we arrived at 10:30, there were no free rooms and we were not settled. But we are not whiners like the rest of the group, changed into swimsuits and went to the pools. They laid tiles near the big one and it was noisy. The music was also playing loudly. We bought and when we settled, we changed the room from the original one near this pool to another, quieter one near the dining room and pool 1. The room has a refrigerator, a safe, an electric kettle, a stove, a hairdryer, appliances, so you can make coffee for yourself if you wish. But the biggest problem is that there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. On the first night, I was bitten more than 120 times)) Where they came from is unknown, we stopped opening the windows. The staff gave us a bottle to poison, we bought an OFF for ourselves, but it was hard on the first night and then they did not disappear. Although they were not in other rooms (So just grab the plate into the socket as a reserve and you will be happy!
Well, because of the renovation, the main pool was constantly noisy, so we rested near it, just to check the mail (the described free wi-fi catches only there).
But on Thursday they made a dinner party there - they set up tables in the air like for a wedding in skirts, the waiters dressed up, there was beautiful food and a show.
More tips - on excursions they give dry rations in the truest sense of the word, so if you eat for the whole day, grab a couple of fruits and yogurt in advance. If you go to Cairo, take a pillow on the bus.
I will also appeal to our compatriots - do not behave like cattle. There are a lot of English and Italians in the hotel, but only ours are dissatisfied with everything, they get drunk, everything is always wrong. Sharks sailed - "the hotel is to blame, the worldwide conspiracy, so I again! " After all, it’s December outside, and you are at the sea, the sun, why spoil your vacation?
