In December of this year, we as a group (of six people) went to this hotel: we really liked the appearance of this hotel, and also fit the budget. We also read a lot of reviews, both good and bad, but decided to check everything ourselves. I will say right away that the first impression was very good, the appearance is really very beautiful here, but the rest is in order. Firstly: the food here is delicious, but monotonous, this applies to breakfasts (potatoes, scrambled eggs and sausages, but very tasty pastries), there is no children's menu and everything is spicy (we had a friend who had an acute allergy, and he had nothing was eaten, except for desserts and rice without meat), they almost don’t serve fruit, although they have a lot of things for sale in the markets at that time. Secondly: because this is a family-type hotel, then there is almost no entertainment, i. e. : animation is at full zero, the animators are funny guys, but they don’t know how to entertain the audience, they didn’t especially like their dancing by the pool - they twitched 2 times, clapped their hands and left, very they force them to attend discos with them, while, let’s say, we came for the sake of the sea and the sand, and we didn’t plan to go on excursions and attend entertainment-type events (it’s a long way to go on excursions from here, closer from Hurghada, especially since we came for 7 days). They have discos in Naama Bay and cost $ 20-35, in Minsk you can go much cheaper. There are no discos on the territory of the hotel, but I would like it, because after 16.00 the pools are closed and there is really nothing to do, only if the bar is "pumped up" with various local drinks. They have karaoke a couple of times a week, but almost no one goes there. Thirdly: I’ll tell you about the Delta beach, we didn’t go to others. The beach is very small, if you arrive late, there will not be enough places, even just to spread a towel on the sand, all drinks are paid (25 pounds for a bottle of beer, while bottled beer costs 8 pounds in a hotel), only water in the cooler is free. There is a sandy beach here and there are corals, very beautiful fish swim, but so far they are only allowed to swim up to the waist because of the sharks, they were seen on the neighboring beach. Getting there is not difficult: there is a minibus from the hotel, but it is small and if you don’t catch it, you can go on your own (taxi or minibus), you won’t get there on foot, because it takes 10-15 minutes to get there. Be sure to bargain with minibus drivers (it’s more expensive to ride a taxi, we got so impudent that we just got into a minibus, and we gave money (a pound per person, like the locals) when we got out of the bus).
In general, this hotel is for families with small children, for the elderly who want peace and quiet, there are 12 pools, but now they are cold, for those who do not want to go anywhere and drive. If it were not for our noisy company, then we would be bored, especially in the evenings, because. you will often get tired of going to the market in the Old Town, you get very tired of communicating with merchants, in Naama Bay everything is a little expensive, except for hookahs and fruits. We went through Anex Tour: I can’t say bad things about them, we were quickly met at the airport and delivered, there were no problems back either, only because of them in Moscow they hesitated, because they had to give us tickets at Domodedovo, registration at 4-30 began, and the representative appeared only at 5-00 and said that the tickets were not printed out, because the system "flew" and they did not give vouchers for the same reason, but the tickets were in the electronic database and we just went to Terminals approached, flew away and flew in without problems. And in the hotel itself, the guide was seen 1 time, her name is Olesya, she told everything, explained, and we parted. But remember the main thing: how you set yourself up to go, so you will be lucky on the road. And the sea in Sharm El Sheikh is just awesome!! !
