We rested as a couple from 10.10 to 21.10. 12. In Egypt for the 5th time, so there is something to compare. A lot has been written about the rest in this hotel, by and large there is nothing special to add. With stardom and the criteria for its determination in Egypt, everything was always not all right, but who and for what gave this hotel 4 *, and who gives it the same, and higher ratings for rest, is not entirely clear. In our opinion, this inn corresponds to the level of 3 * and no more, including apartments, food and service. However, someone likes it - and okay, everything has its own lover, and in principle, nothing would have prompted us to write this review, if not for one BIG BUT!

The first and most important thing I would like to warn everyone who has gathered here is

BE WARNING, THE HOTEL THROWS IN THE HOTEL! ! !

And not just flourishes, but bursts with violent color! Looking ahead, I will say right away that for Egypt, and indeed for most Arab countries, where the Koran is the basic law, this is nonsense, because
j. Theft is one of the gravest sins. I myself had a case when, in a drunken shop in Hurghada, I forgot a phone worth more than 600 dollars in a street Internet cafe. I returned for it only two hours later, when I found that I wanted to call, but my pocket was empty. The cafe administrator ran out to meet me with a smile and a phone in his hands. In gratitude, I tried to hand him $ 5, he categorically refused, and when, after a couple of minutes, I finally succeeded, almost with a fight, he seemed to be almost offended. Something like that…

And now about what is happening at NESCO.

We discovered the first loss three days later upon arrival, when Snickers disappeared from our suitcase. Yes, yes, the usual Snickers, which we decided to take with us on an excursion, but it disappeared. Gone, and that's it. We still did not understand where he had gone - was there a boy? - as a result, they shrugged, laughed and forgot.

The next time was much more dramatic.
On the last day of our stay at the hotel, my wife's ring, bought here the day before, disappeared from the room. Inexpensive, silver, but very beautiful and massive, weighing about 8 grams. Moreover, before leaving for the beach, my wife took it off her hand and put it in a bag on a trillage - all this was before my eyes. Returning to the hotel a few hours later, we saw that the room had been cleaned. They began to gather for dinner, and then it turned out that the ring had disappeared. Considering my past experience of being in Egypt, the situation was more than unexpected for me, if not shocking. Nothing was ever lost even in the terrible trio, in which they did not even hear about such a thing as a safe. Therefore, it was decided to report the problem to the hotel management and the hotel guide from PEGAS, our tour operator (which, by the way, owns this hotel, and not even on a leasehold basis, but on a property right, PEGAS bought it).

The only thing that the hotel security did after our statement was turned our room upside down with the zealous goal of finding the loss. Our attempts to exhort that before that we had been doing the same thing for two whole hours did not lead to anything. Then the cleaner of our room was called, the guards searched him (though not in our presence). Naturally, the ring was not found on him. After that, it was explained to us that, they say, since you left the ring anywhere except the safe, then you yourself are suckers, and the hotel does not bear any responsibility for this. True, why and why in our room there is a door with a lock, the keys to which are only at the reception and the cleaner - it is not entirely clear. Anyway.
Perhaps this would have ended, we would have spat, sighed and gone to a romantic dinner we ordered at a fish restaurant dedicated to the last evening of our stay here, but then a guy from our own block on the floor above appears at the reception and declares that from the suitcase he lost 100 dollars. History repeats itself - his number is turned upside down and culturally sent in the same direction as us. Remarkably, the room is cleaned by the same cleaner as ours. Here it becomes clear to us that our case is not an isolated one, that this is already a system, and all this happens, if not with the tacit consent of the hotel management, then at least connivance is evident.
After our question to the management, why, in fact, he himself is not interested in the topic of theft under their noses, why they don’t care about their own reputation, and why don’t we call the tourist police for investigation, we were immediately put into complete disregard! All! Nobody wanted to talk to us any further. Nobody offered us any compromises or solutions to the problem. The security service told us - sit down, wait, your issue is allegedly being resolved. And so, probably fifteen times! In fact, no one did or decided anything. The management was sitting right there in the lobby at a table away from us in a relaxed position, smoking, drinking tea and talking heart to heart. Everyone counted on the fact that these Russians would now grieve, have a drink, get up and leave - of course, we are cattle! 99% of the guests in this hotel are Russians, you can do everything with them, because they are only used to the Crimea!
I think if you change the vacationers, say, for Italians, Germans, or at least Poles, they would have smashed this whole hotel to smithereens in half an hour!

In general, we can talk about everything that happened next for a long time. Needless to say, we never got to dinner that evening? Yes, economically, this whole situation, perhaps, was not worth it, and in the end, it could have been easily hushed up on the part of the administration, but we were faced with SUCH indifferent and disregarding attitude from the management of both the hotel and the tour operator (and this is, in general, the same thing - a PEGAS hotel), which made a unanimous decision to go to the end.
In short - the whole story began at 7 pm, we got to the tourist police only after one in the morning. At the hotel, they paid attention to us only when the situation reached the point of shouting and scandal. It is clear, because this is the only thing that the hotel just did not need - after all, the situation is in full view!
During the entire time of our stay at the reception, we managed to meet a woman who had also had three cell phones stolen from her room the day before, to meet a not quite sober girl all in tears and snot, who had an expensive camera stolen from the table in the hotel snack bar, while she went to the toilet, and also, if possible, somehow reassured a shaking girl of about 20 who had come running here, who five minutes ago in her own room was almost raped by an Arab from the service staff who came into her room under the pretext of plumbing service. And no one cares, except for the victims themselves, the flight is normal.
The next morning, or rather, the day after another four-hour trial from 9 am to 1 pm with a fight, shouting and scandal, the hotel management paid us compensation in the amount of 50% of the stolen goods on the condition that we would not go to the police again.
Although, of course, we would have gone with pleasure if we had more time before departure, since the hotel is actually going through a COMPLETE mayhem! Everything is good only as long as it does not affect you personally!
We have been at home for a day, but we are still in shock from what we saw and heard. We express our special “gratitude” to the management of the DESSOLE NESCO hotel, in particular, manager Tatyana for the blatant shamelessness and impudence in communicating with customers, as well as our sincere “gratitude” to the manager of the PEGAS tour operator Yulia Kolesnikova for her indifference and formal approach to the problems of vacationers.
MORE IN THIS HOTEL NOT A FOOT, which is what we wish to all readers ! ! !

P. S. If you manage to get here, keep all your things more than five dollars in a safe! ! ! Even Snickers! And at your leisure, read the book of comments and suggestions, it lies modestly and alone in a corner at the reception.
In it you will find a lot of interesting things about thefts, and about the sale of drugs by staff at a local disco, and about the DISPOSAL (yes, in the very, very true sense of the word ! ! ) attitude of service personnel towards customers, and much more.
Everyone is happy!
