We went to the hotel in doubt. Firstly, we read reviews on the Internet and expected the worst. Secondly, they were frightened by unsanitary conditions and rudeness. Once we had already experienced poisoning in Egypt, in the Continental Plaza, so we were very worried that we might again find ourselves in the same situation. We arrived early, Pegasus packed the buses very slowly. In the end, we left the airport and after 10 minutes we were already at the hotel. If they knew it wasn't far, they would have taken a taxi. They did not extort anything at the reception, they gave the keys to a room in one of the sixth buildings, showed the direction. We found the room quickly, thanks to the compatriots who took us to the right building. They rested for more than a day and studied the hotel. Luggage waited for 2 hours, it's good that we had lunch before check-in. To be honest, it was incredibly hot in Egypt in early July. Hell in the sun. Walking around the territory from the hill and up the hill is very annoying, although we are not that old. We saw families pushing baby carriages, sweating and angry. This is naturally not the fault of the hotel, you just need to clearly imagine the landscape of the hotel before purchasing a tour to it. Everything was decent in the rooms, the furniture is not new, but the plasma TV is modern. There was no mold in the shower which was great. Cleaning... hmm... This is called moving a rag. In general, unsanitary conditions are complete. After cleaning, there is not the slightest smell of any antiseptic such as bleach. And this despite the fact that they wash the floors and wipe the dust with one rag in all rooms. With a dirty hand, the cleaner dispenses towels and water in parallel. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner you need to take your own, the hotel is some kind of muck that does not lather. The main fears were due to food. But this time we were lucky, neither I nor my friend had stomach problems. The food was better than at Continental Plaza. In the main restaurant, the choice was normal, everything was even a little dietary, stewed, boiled, baked. The soups were disgusting to be honest, but the other dishes are no complaints. Oh yes, there were weathered vegetables and fruits sometimes, we did not take them. Note the delicious desserts. The grill restaurant is also highly praised in the reviews. We dined there. Kebab or grilled chicken and a glass of beer - just a great snack. The downside is that the staff does not have time to clean the tables, there are queues for food and appliances. The service is good, the staff is polite, maybe due to age. Girls on the beach complained about indecent comments, especially if one girl walks around the hotel and without witnesses. But they don't open their hands. As for drinks, I liked coffee from machines and beer. They also drank water. Other drinks: soda, yuppies, wine tasteless. Unless you can still drink hibiscus. There are several beaches, we chose relaxation. There are fewer people than in the part where the same music is played all the time. You can enter the sea only from the pontoon, and immediately the depth and the reef. We also saw Napoleon, only one, we don’t know if it was Grisha. The moray eel also scared me a lot. But if someone is scared to swim with fish, then it is better to swim in the afternoon, at this time there are many small fish near the reef. There is no life outside the hotel. You can get out in Soho by taxi, it costs 3-4 dollars on the street, if you take a car from the hotel, it is more expensive. We went once, I liked it, it’s clean and tidy, no one clings, but it’s expensive. The hotel has Internet, but it works very poorly, except to send an email, I could not talk to my daughter on Skype. But she booked us tours to Israel and Mount Moses through the Internet company Red Sea Travel (if I'm not mistaken), they called us in the room and told us everything, went on both excursions. Mount Moses - this is the place where you need to go in the summer. It was, of course, cool at the top, we were aware and took sweaters. It was hot in Jerusalem, but still not as hot as in Sharm. Despite the fighting in Gaza, it was calm in the holy places, and we managed to see and touch everything. Thanks to the guide, we became an order of magnitude more religious. In general, the hotel is not a five, it's a fact, but it's not worth it, like real five-star hotels. You can go, we recommend it to those who know how to turn a blind eye to the little things.
