Less than a week ago I flew in from Sharm, so the memories are quite fresh. The trip was very long-awaited, the hotel was chosen for a long time, meticulously, for a week I read reviews on all sites about different hotels. I found the most positive reviews about the Royal Rojana Resort, and because. I wanted to go only to Sharm and only to the Sharks Bay area - the choice was made.
What I want to say... The first impression is a huge, very beautiful area, the hotel is located, as it were, on a mountain and in the evening a fantastic view of the opposite coast of Sharm, lights and yachts opens up. Everything is in colors, very well maintained, clean. Advice to those who will go there: if it seems to you that your room is the worst, inconveniently located, far from the reception / beach - calm down and do not move ahead of time. Stay there for a while and you will find that everything is not so bad, figure out the side streets this hotel is quite simple.
About the rooms. The first impression is - dear mother... the furniture is shabby, everything is far from new, the bathroom is without frills (such as different shower gels, foams), for example, we didn’t even have toilet paper : ) But I soberly judged that the condition of the furniture does not matter, because I came here by the sea, and not to sit in the room and stare at the closet : ) The room was on the ground floor, and a couple of days later a terrible event happened: at night I found a cockroach in the bathroom!!! ! I screamed so much that I woke up all the tourists and fish. In the morning I made a gouging at the reception, and we were moved to the second floor. In the previous room, the drain in the shower was not sealed, I think that the cockroach crawled out from there. So the advice is to immediately take the floor on the second floor, do not wait for the little guests! : )

Food: just amazing! Fed as for slaughter, everything is very diverse, fresh, well, very tasty! I have something to compare, in Egypt for the 4th time, and I can say that this is definitely the best cuisine in Sharm! On Wednesday - fish day, they give awesome shrimp, crabs, delicious fish. In a word, for lovers of delicious food - paradise.
Beach and sea: sun loungers and deck chairs leave much to be desired, because. it can be seen that they have not been changed for 5 years, a lot of old and shabby, broken sun loungers. anyway in this hotel get up early.
Reef: this is why I will always go to Egypt, and to this hotel! I have never seen such a fantastic reef anywhere, diving trips to Tiran, Ras Mohammed, other reefs - everything pales in comparison! A huge variety of fish, very different, I saw many for the first time, a flock of giant Napoleon fish, a two-meter moray eel, stingrays, whose octopus can be stroked like a kitten - this is not a complete list of what a water world lover can see in the reef of this hotel. Exactly because of this pleasure, all the disadvantages of Rojana fade, of which there are quite a lot.
Animation: I personally did not participate in it, but people liked it, the dances on the sea were cool, the guys from Russia and Turkey work well, groovy. Minus the hotel - evening shows in the tent. Tip: you can walk on them (you will only fall asleep from boredom), but sit not in the front rows and not on the aisle, do not go on stage in any case !!! ! Personally, on the first day of my vacation, they stupidly doused me with water, I sat near the aisle and half a bucket spilled on me! This is their joke. I went to make a fuss at the reception, and then I found out that some were even more lucky - the girl was taken to the stage and stupidly doused from a bucket. I have never seen more stupidity in my life. I don’t understand who these shows are designed for and what the director smoked.
Pegasus work: everything is clear here, everything is on time, there is nothing to complain about at all. Near the reception there is a Pegasus stand, behind which an employee was constantly on duty - all questions can be clarified, you feel calm.

Workers and staff: a double impression. Lots of nice and polite people, always ready to help with problems and answer questions. But there are also strange nervous-twitchy personalities. 50/50 in general.
Contingent: all Russians!! ! did not see a single foreigner, all from the CIS! The staff speaks Russian as if it were their native language, you can’t practice English here : ) There are pluses of such a contingent: there are a lot of young people, if you are traveling alone, you will definitely find yourself a company and new friends. There are also disadvantages - the way ours thump does not fit into any framework, I saw a vodka + beer cocktail in the heat of +35 for the first time. Almost everything is blue at the disco. The disco is not bad, by the way.
Summary: if you are a lover of luxury, a high level of the hotel, cleanliness and order in everything - you are not in the right place. You are not in Egypt at all : ) Well, if you are a lover of the rich underwater world, the sun, delicious food, cheerful companies - this is your hotel! And do not pay attention to the cons, if you initially go on vacation with negativity and do not want to get rid of it - you will certainly find something to complain about and ruin your mood. You need to relax with a positive, and there is plenty of it in this hotel! Buy a mask with a tube, coral slippers, sun cream - and go to Rojana! See you in May ; )
