I'll try to answer people's questions. I am writing a review because we also had questions about this hotel. Traveled with wife and kids aged 10 and 12. This is my fourth time in Egypt, there is something to compare.
We were from March 2nd to March 12th.
The water temperature is 21-23 degrees. The air temperature in the morning is 21, in the afternoon from 24 to 38, depending on the wind and cloud cover, but in general the weather was great.
The hotel is located in Sharks Bay, on the first line, with standard rooms for Egypt, we were in building No. 6 (this is closer to the main restaurant and tennis courts) in the rooms there is not quite new furniture and the need for minor cosmetic repairs (there is a modern LCD TV with connector for flash drives), but you should not bother about the number. Who needs more expensive rooms, they need to be booked in advance.

The territory is green, well-groomed and big. A large number of different flowering plants and shrubs. There is a waterfall, three slides that operate at certain hours, a central pool where all the animation takes place. Cool volleyball court (with fine white sand). A good football field with grass, two tennis (sand) courts - $ 12. hour, table tennis (racquets at the reception).
Two beaches with pontoons and a sandy beach (I note the cleanliness and order on the beach). Someone wrote that there were not enough "sunbeds" and you need to borrow in advance, complete nonsense (at least in our case there were no problems). The main attraction of the hotel is the coral reef and fish, from one pantone to another about 100 meters, while you swim you can see everything. You can not go to other reefs, only if you ride on a ship or scuba dive. Be sure to take a diving mask and snorkel, you can buy it there, but better quality at the local duty free (I myself am fond of spearfishing and recommend MARES). Don't forget sunscreen with 20 sun protection. (The first 2-3 days must be applied to the entire body).
Meals on a solid 4 plus. The main restaurant (two halls, for non-smokers and for smokers with music and sea views), ice cream for children. Lobby bar from morning to 23 hours. Grill bar on the beach, full lunch (highly recommended, under a canopy on the seashore). Coffee machines throughout the hotel. From 11 p. m. to 2 a. m. , disco bar.
Entertainment. For children there is a kids club and a playground, I did not see a heated pool, because. spent all the time on the beach by the sea, there is a small zoo (camel, donkey, goats, etc. ). Animators, young guys from Russia are Turks. The lobby bar has karaoke and live music. Decent disco night, every day. On the beach for extra money you can ride a banana, a boat, a parachute, there is a diving club, but I was not in it.
Additionally, I recommend going to the evening show at 1001 Nights, taking the children to the water park (all heated pools), visiting the local Broadway - Soho, 10 minutes from the hotel. All fruits, souvenirs and T-shirts with towels in the market in the old town (prices are 2-3 times cheaper than in Nama Bay).
I recommend the hotel to everyone, suitable for active people and for "pensioners" with children, we liked it.
