So I went to the hotel not just like that, but clearly knowing what I needed from the rest. In essence, I want to note that the following have changed for the better: 1) The beach. The beds are new, good, no broken ones. There were places on the beach, even if they were not visible at first - for a dollar they will bring you a sunbed under the shade or the sun, wherever you want. 2) Restaurants. There were 2 new ones - French and Chinese, were in Chinese. I won't say it's real Chinese food, but it's pretty tasty. In general, the food, as it was at its best, remained the same, I was very pleased with the grill restaurant near the beach. I have not eaten such delicious grilled fish and chicken wings for a long time. In all restaurants, everything is fresh, there is a choice, we always ate with pleasure. The only thing is that the breakfast is poor, all the same. 3) Spa.
I was in a Turkish bath, on a massage - I liked everything, friendly staff, they do it well. A specialist in the selection of procedures - our compatriot Lena advised an excellent complex, perfectly strengthened the tan and prevented skin flaking. Now for the cons. Repair over these 3 years has not been done, in principle it is not so important because you only sleep in the rooms, and in my 3rd building there was quite good furniture, but my friends were shocked because everything was falling apart : ))) Staff. The attention of local residents to my person in the first days shocked me. In Egypt, I 6 (!! ! ) times never noticed super attention to myself, what happened this time is a mystery to me. Swimming alone was just dumb. Several times, some local natives jumped from the pontoon and from a nearby yacht, seeing me in the water, sailed from behind watching the "views" or waving greetings, at one moment I got so angry that I yelled at such a diver, it helped.
Some of the waiters from the bar on the beach felt very at ease, but after one literally got his hands on his hands when he reached out to touch my navel earring (!!!!! ! ), attention sharply decreased. I don’t understand what happened to the locals and why they got so upset - a revolution, or something ... But I decided not to pay attention to the minuses, because you need to rest on the positive. When leaving, I was shocked by the incident with a divorce for money. Not only did they not give us breakfast boxes like in other hotels (we left at 5 am), they tried to download money for a hanger, which we allegedly took with us. As soon as the manager realized that I was determined to show the contents of the suitcases, the hanger was found in a matter of minutes. Now about the main thing. Reef. I can't say that I was disappointed, but .... the reef was "tired". The beauty of 2010 is no more. I tend to think it depends on the day/weather/season as every day the sea was different.
One day the reef was practically empty - on the second day there were a lot of fish and very interesting. The water was often cloudy. Jellyfish caught up (sting, bastards), but it was interesting because the fish swam out to eat them, it's cool to watch. We were pleased with the slopes, there were many small beautiful fish. I didn't see Murena. Grisha was alone and not at all the same size as in 2010. He probably died already. In general, the impression is that the fish became smaller due to the efforts of man - every second swimmer fed the fish with bread or eggs. I just wanted to yell: people, the fish are dying from this ! ! ! I don’t care for everyone, they paid for the tickets, but why. I spent most of my time in the water, advice: if you want to see beautiful corals and more fish, swim to the coral island between the main beach and relaxation, closer to relaxation. There are the most living creatures, near the pontoons it is no longer interesting. In general, the impression of the rest is positive, despite the above disadvantages.
The animation team did their best, dancing on the beach is super, a lot of fun. I do not know if I will choose this hotel again, but overall I am satisfied with the rest. What do you wish!
