I have already written several detailed reviews about my favorite hotel complex Domina Coral Bay, they are all available for reading. I will not repeat myself, I write only news and changes after the next trip.
I bought a tour to the Oasis Hotel, it is still closed, Domina was almost empty on December 17th. Without money and requests, everyone was settled in building 44, which is considered the best in the Aquamarine Beach Hotel, overlooking the sea. The room, as always, is shabby, but everything worked.
Everything else was closed, it looked like no more than 200 people lived in the hotel. By the time of Catholic Christmas and New Year, there were noticeably more people, many Italians arrived, and several more buildings were opened. But after January 15, a decline is expected again.
The food at one of the smallest restaurants, El Mastaba, is poor compared to "rich" times, but there is meat, fish, chicken and a selection of vegetables. Seafood was presented with octopus salad (was 5 days out of 2 weeks) and squid was given 2 times. In the evenings, they cooked something on the grill every day. Also, the choice of monotonous sweets and a small selection of fruits: orange, grapefruit, guava, dates, melon and some other fruits in pieces in syrup - all the time. Pomegranate and tangerines appeared for several days. There are only drinks in the bars, no food or even ice cream. Bottled beer, no draft.
The bar has been lowered compared to previous visits. : -( The food is quite boring.
Unfortunately, Domina is now chosen by a layer of our compatriots who are no better than the Russian "tagil". : -((Screams, noise, uproar and drunken "bazaars" - around the clock. Swearing in the presence of women (who themselves also swear) and children. During the day you can not meet them due to the very large beach. But in the room, in the restaurant, in bars and on the territory you will hear enough in full program! This is not happy. I immediately want to go to a hotel where the "scoop" is at least.
Gained new experience on this trip. We traveled independently around Sharm - there is a highway (El-Salam Road) along the entire city and you can get where you need to by local minibuses for 3-5 Egyptian pounds. Cool and fun, only these minibuses are heavily killed inside, but they drive very fast. Recommend!
In general, I was satisfied with the rest, in Domina there is a cool beach, a pontoon, a huge territory and a beautiful sea - they take their toll.
