Well, where to start. . . After reading the reviews, I prepared for the worst. And while the transfer was delivering all the tourists in 5-kam, Faraana finally faded. But despite the late arrival (at 22:00 we arrived at the hotel), a light dinner was waiting for us in the room (closed sandwiches and vegetables). Settled in quickly. Remembering the reviews about plumbing, I immediately checked - and it works, and there is hot water (although in order to adjust a certain temperature, I had to get used to it). The room was a little tired, but everything worked. The room is also generally clean - I diligently searched for cockroaches and mice, but did not find it. The view from the room was pleasantly pleased - a view of the pools and the Red Sea (I note that I didn’t spend a dime at the reception). There were not many people at the hotel (they rested between 7-13.03. 18) and this has its plus - NO LINES ANYWHERE. If you are traveling with children, it is frankly boring for children here. The animators tried a couple of times to organize something - but it can be seen without much enthusiasm. The food is tasty, but not varied, the fruits are excellent. We did not swim in the pools, except for one heated one - for some reason, in large pools, the water is colder than in the sea. And by the way, the sea.... I saw the Red Sea for the first time and it captivated me. Sandy beach, clear blue water, reef. . . Despite the sandy beach - all the time I swam in reef slippers (I'm very afraid of sea urchins, and even when diving on a nearby reef I found them - I was convinced of the correctness of my decision - creepy creatures... brrr). Back to the hotel - the hotel itself is a grandiose collection of buildings on a large area. Very colorful style with impressive cascading pools. You can see that there were better times for this hotel in the past. The staff is polite and smiling. To say that it is particularly intrusive, I will not say, with a polite refusal, they do not particularly bother. At the bar they drank mostly beer, but also tried rum + cola and hookah (for a fee). The hotel has a shop - the goods are not bad, but feel free to bargain. The hotel guide did not wait - they ordered another (the girls from the tour company gave contacts). If you like hotel rest, it is unlikely that Faraana is for you - do not spoil the rest either for yourself or for people. (A more negative impression was created by tourists who expressed their dissatisfaction at every step and at what they strove to express this to other vacationers). I was very pleased that despite the check-out at 12:00, and lunch at 13:00 - we had lunch before departure (departure was at 17:00). In general, the hotel is not chic, but I liked it. I spent a relaxing, stress-free vacation.
