We rested at the hotel from June 1 to June 10.2019. Before buying a tour, we carefully read the reviews, so there were no surprises for us - everything that was written is practically true, if you do not take into account the reviews for 10 and 2.
If the overall impression - then my wife and I liked it. But we initially focused on the quality of the sea. As they say, who expects what, but I won’t go a second time.
Ideal for those who seek solitude and who do not have high expectations.
I'll start with the pros:
- the sea is excellent, the sunset is sandy and immediately deep (with small children there may be problems), the beach is wide and long;
- there is no coral on the beach itself, but on the right in the Stella hotel there is an excellent and large one - we swam there. There is also a coral to the left along the beach where the Bedouins live - you can order shrimp from them (20 dollars a kilogram - more expensive than in the bazaar, but exotic) tea for $ 2. I don’t know if this is included in the payment, but when we ordered shrimp, he gave us an hour tour of the coral;
- large room, everything worked;
- the territory is large, well-decorated, built with soul;
- there are always places on sun loungers near the pools and on the beach (although the hotel is not completely full);
- you can estimate the number of vacationers only in the dining room, then everyone dissolves around the territory;
- the staff is not intrusive;
now the cons:
- you will not be hungry, but if you think that you are going on a gastronomic tour - this hotel is not for you;
- cleaning in the hotel, to put it mildly, wants to be the best. Staircases are not removed. They did not change the towels, left chocolates, seeds - it was useless, they made dirty swans. But the room itself was cleaned - normal by local standards;
- animators, as far as I understand, just appeared - so the animation is weak (at the level of school amateur performances). There is no disco by the pool;
- many local vacationers - this brings some discomfort, given the difference in cultures;
- the sea is not far, but it is fenced and if you walk you have to make a detour, but we walked. A bus takes you to the beach and back, but the last flight from the beach is at 17-30. He does not always go according to the schedule, he is often late;
- in the evening there are a lot of mosquitoes, you need to take a remedy with you;
- you can draw water in the cooler in the dining room - but for this you need bottles that you need to either buy for the first time or take with you.
