I probably do not have enough words to describe the hotel in which we ended up due to our own indiscretion and illiteracy of the travel agent. No one is allowed to visit this hotel! No one has the right to advise and praise this hotel. Such horror can be found in rented apartments in the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory. Let's start with location. The hotel is located between construction sites. Dirty desert all around. On the left side of the runway. Planes land right on top of your head. Our child woke up at night from the sounds of airplanes every hour. The rooms are so worn out that even for $30 it was a lot of work for us to find a good one. Revised 5 rooms !!! ! All creepy. We settled in a room overlooking the dirty desert and the sea, which is 2 and a half kilometers away. The room was located in a once restored building. Bed linen stained, curtains scorched with cigarette holes, floor lamp soaked in something. The mattress is firm. An extra bed for a seven-year-old child is a cot, squeezed so that the body lies almost on the floor. We ended up sleeping together. The wife cried the first 2 days. We found a way out (it was good to have money with us): we booked an excursion to Israel-Jordan for 2 days. As a result, we spent one night at the border, the second in Aqaba in a 3 star hotel, which was 10 times better than Gardenia. We bought a tour not from a guide, but via the Internet (we bought a local SIM card at the airport) from saiftour. com. The child steadfastly endured the tour, and we received a lot of positive emotions. Returning to the hotel, we tried to spend our free time from the sea outside. So, 3 times we went by taxi for 10 pounds to Soho Square, there we watched singing fountains and skated. A very beautiful place, not like Egypt. The fact that the hotel does not have a heated pool, we knew in advance. Reconciled with it. But the fact that it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the beach through the dirty desert, constantly answering passing taxi drivers that we don’t need their taxi. There is a bus to the beach every hour, but sometimes there is not enough space. The beach itself is normal, the reef is very beautiful, but the wife and child were afraid of shark attacks, which the name of the bay “shark bay” suggests, and swam a little. But I swam a lot, I didn’t see any sharks, the reef is beautiful and lively, not with a straight wall, but with caves and depressions that divers really like. Constantly under you someone releases bubbles, my son really liked this jacuzzi. Returning to the hotel from the beach, the wife was oppressed by the aspect of food very much. First, the restaurant is very dirty. Rags on the tables are again stained traditionally for Gardenia, cutlery with food leftovers, crumbs from previous guests are not swept from the tables. And there are just no napkins! We are not picky in matters of food, and we understood that we were going to the Egyptian four, but apart from chicken and rice, there is nothing else to eat. And not even because it is tasteless, but because it is dangerous, since food from lunch was served for dinner and so on. Even the croissants for breakfast were cold, as if baked in the evening. Oh yes, in fairness, I note that the omelettes and pancakes were delicious, it was not dangerous to eat them. The problem of the hotel is poor management and the greed of the owner, so the staff is always waiting for handouts and baksheesh. They won't work without it. But with their salaries there is no other way to survive. I can't blame them. The hotel does not suit anyone, we will not go to it! We advise you to close it forever, or even better, burn it to the ground!
