We were going to go to Egypt for the first time, since there wasn’t much to choose from, it seems like it’s not the season, and all the planes and hotels are full. We were advised by the tour operator to take Gardenia. Departure dates approached and we agreed. Well, let's start with the fact that when we were brought there, it was at 3 o'clock at night, the reception itself looked gloomy. They settled us like in a cool room, with one large bed and one blanket. And in the armor it was written twin beds. It was cold to sleep at night and I was looking for a cleaner to bring another blanket. First he brought a pillow, then sheets, when I already showed with my nose that I needed it, he finally brought a blanket. You will not find signs like "Please do not disturb" and "Servise my room" there. The cleaner will knock on your door at 6 am and ask if you need to clean the room. My advice is to always say tomorrow! I will never forget the all-inclusive package, there is nothing to eat, that is, all the food is spicy (I can’t be spicy), there are no fruits, water is only in plastic cups, if you want in a bottle, pay. I was constantly hungry, and since there was nothing nearby, I had to wait for feeding time. The airport is nearby, yes, the planes are very disturbing at night especially. There is no animation at all, I saw few guests, either they were sitting in the rooms, or they were leaving, in general, it is not clear, there are no young people at all. Although we were told that this is a youth hostel. The pools are cold, no one swims in them, half of the sun loungers are simply broken, and they are still broken. The sea with the beach is far away, as it was already written here, a 30-minute walk, but until you get there ten times they will scare you with signals. The wait staff is very strange, of course I don’t understand Arabic, but I knew for sure when they got up in the dining room in front of our table, discussing us. It was unpleasant, uncomfortable, from which I wanted to hide and run away from there. And these Arabs also have such an interesting apparatus with which they poison mosquitoes, very caustic smoke, it is better to immediately run to the room. The unbearable stench hung throughout the day, not only from this smoke, they turned out to be flowers and watered grass with fertilizers from the sewer. In general, it was a fun holiday. The only thing I regret is that we paid a lot of money, it was possible to take 2* with tiki 4 * and not overpay. Since we had booked a lot of excursions so that we could be on excursions every day, this hotel did not overshadow the holiday so much. As we were told by the vacationers, whom we finally found, two years ago this hotel was normal, since the authorities are constantly changing there now, everything is in such a neglected state. Have a good rest and more positive emotions. You might even like this hotel.
