“How we rested in Sharm)”
This was our third trip to Egypt. But it so happened that in Egypt we are comfortable and it’s not long to fly there, but my pug and I like diving, and the Red Sea is of course gorgeous!
So first things first:
I won’t tell you for a long time how we were met at the airport, but we got to the hotel in about 2 hours, as there were a lot of tourists and there were also a lot of hotels. We were settled in a large spacious room, as it was stated "sea view". The room is really nice, big spacious bathroom, toiletries are good, they provide a bathrobe, chic towels, there is a hair dryer, good towels - everything is very clean and pleasant.
Bed linen was changed every two days, the staff is very unobtrusive and friendly. Surprisingly, no one demanded or hinted at a tip, when they tried to somehow thank them, they even refused.

The beach, in my opinion, is gorgeous, there are 2 pantones, one wooden with a very convenient descent into the sea. The descent is convenient because the steps into the sea are rubber and soft, especially convenient for children and the elderly. The sea is very beautiful, the coral row is very rich. and snorkelling was a great pleasure for us.
There is a delicious restaurant and bar on the beach, I always asked to bring me a bucket of ice so that the drinks do not heat up))) They bring fragrant cold towels so that you can apply them to your forehead) They carry fresh fruit.
Territory. Very big, green and beautiful. Lots of flowers and palms.
Spa and gym. For me it is important because I love to play sports. The gym is small but very functional, all the machines are new and not cheap with TVs built right into them. It was very pleasant to work out, the air conditioner worked. The spa has a Turkish sauna with wet steam, a regular Finnish sauna and a small cold pool. Everything is very decent and beautiful. Only the locker room is very small and it is impossible to approach the lockers if there are three or more people in the locker room at the same time. I didn’t use the procedures in the spa, only I did yoga with a Thai girl, to my surprise I really liked it and I took 10 lessons with her at once.

Excursions and free time. Now we pass to the most interesting. I would not want to offend anyone, but by the end of the trip, I came to the conclusion that it was not the Egyptians who were fooling us, but our tour operator, this is very insulting and bad. Upon arrival in Sharm el-Sheikh, they frightened us for a long time and told me not to use the services of an excursion bureau for anything and tried not to buy anything in stores themselves ! ! Of course, we took note of this and ordered two excursions from Teztour - it was a Luxor by plane and Israel. In general, we wanted to have a good rest and see as much as possible since we went for 3 weeks. As a result, in the teztour we paid a very impressive amount for three people. Usually my husband likes to book a hotel himself and buy tickets separately, so he always goes to different sites that offer excursions or escorts in a particular country. Before the trip to Egypt, we also studied the Internet sites that offer similar services and wrote out telephone numbers, but then upon arrival we decided simply not to risk it.
Excursions, in my opinion, are organized at a very low level, very standard, they are reluctant to answer questions, somehow it seems that this is a pure business, we even bought a shopping tour for $ 5 in Teztour and we were taken only apparently to places with which they have an agreement where one a regular cotton towel costs $30!!!
They also brought it to an oil store where the prices are really crazy. We were taken to the Old Market and we already hoped that at least we would buy some fruit, but apparently they didn’t have an agreement with them))) which means it’s not supposed to, so a step to the left or right was regarded as execution. That is, in the end, this is not a shopping tour for us or an opportunity to see the city, but an additional opportunity for our tour operator to earn money on us, and brazenly and openly.
The impression was clearly spoiled. My husband decided to call a company that organizes excursions in Egypt. We were answered by a nice Russian woman who has been living in Egypt for a long time and provides services for organizing excursions, they have their own office in Sharm. We agreed to meet near the hotel as it was not convenient for us to go to her place. She arrived, gave us a small gift (oriental sweets), an Egyptian SIM card and a folder with general information about the resort.

At first, we ordered only an excursion to the island of Tiran and did not regret it. It was clear that people love their job, the guide was excellent, with excellent knowledge of the Russian language. The excursion itself was very interesting and comfortable, the Red Sea near Tiran Island is simply amazing! ! In general, they were very satisfied with both the service and the prices, which are much cheaper than the prices of tour operators, the meaning is the same - they also had security and all the attributes like the teztour, only apparently this company does not pay sky-high rent at the hotel, so their prices are much lower . Yes, and a more human attitude, a more attentive and individual attitude. Then we booked an excursion to Petra and Cairo from them and again we liked it very much. It is a pity that they did not initially turn to her, since the saved money could have taken more excursions. If you are interested in the coordinates of this company, then write to me in a personal I will be glad to help you.
Thus, the rest, which was initially overshadowed (not by the Egyptians and the service, please note), but by our tour operator, such a consumer and boorish attitude later ended on a positive note ! ! . entertainment. you must completely trust the tour operator, there are many Russian companies where prices and service are much better ! !
