In the Helnan Marina hotel I rested with my girlfriend in September 2010. We chose the hotel for a long time, and our choice turned out to be 100% successful. Moreover, we did not want to pay the porter either, because there were no trifles, but he turned out to be too persistent, which discouraged us a little... Anyway, the Arabs are a separate conversation. The people are wild and a little ill-mannered. You can be convinced of this just by walking down the street, and we, two extreme sportsmen, also went to an Egyptian disco (more without men, not a foot there)!
Two more words about the service at the hotel - on the first day we had a jammed safe (it seems that you can’t put metal objects and phones in there), they came at the first request, they fixed everything. We didn’t even talk about taking excursions from a guide at the hotel (thanks to the Internet and people who write reviews! ). The main thing is to be on the alert and keep up with the group when visiting certain sights. Before leaving for excursions, we turned to the reception for dry rations, once we asked for it, another time they refused us, asking us to contact the guide.
