We just returned from Egypt and immediately wanted to write a review about this hotel. I cannot say that I am a very demanding person, and in general I am completely satisfied with my vacation.

However, when choosing a hotel, I advise you to think 10 times before going to Helnan Marina.

First of all, let's talk about the "pros"
Naama Bay with a bunch of cafes and shops - 2 minutes walk. There is a very beautiful embankment that runs parallel to the "Arbat", as the Egyptians call it (anyone knows this street). However, this plus can be very good. quickly clean up if you go to a hotel with a large territory, animation and a free bus to Naama.

Nice beach, where there are always sunbeds, however, these sunbeds are mostly in the shade under palm trees and umbrellas. So if you want to sunbathe normally, you will have to get up early. And on windy days, it’s generally better to sunbathe by the pool (there you also need to take seats in the morning).

Very good food for Egypt (in my opinion) - that is, there is something to choose from.
Meat, chicken, fish, potatoes, pasta - that was almost every meal. Almost no fruit, ovbsche only for dinner. In general, I want to say that the most delicious food was in the evening : ) About their sweets - super, as always.

There was no wine, only some vile local beer. From alcohol, good rum - I didn’t dare to try the rest.

Now about the cons . . The service suffers completely. The room was cleaned almost every two days, and the quality of cleaning after the tip did not change - in the end, they stopped leaving money at all.

Our roomboy knew in Russian only "hello. kagdila? " and with about the same pronunciation, and I doubt that he knows their meaning, because he did not understand anything in Russian, and when I tried to explain myself in English, he asked again for a long time and in In the end, I didn't understand either.

There is no animation - volleyball in the morning, some show on the terrace in the evening, which lasts from 20 to 40 minutes.

Construction is constantly going on in the area.
I can’t say that she wildly interfered with us, because we only slept and took a bath in the hotel, in the morning the beach, in the evening naama. BUT it is not very pleasant to leave the room and smell the paint, as well as walk through the ruins of the territory and break your legs.

We were also lucky with the room - we were placed on the 5th floor in a room with a balcony. True, the door to the toilet does not close in the room, the safe does not work and instead of the bathroom there is a tiled floor, so after taking a shower in the bathroom you can swim.

Apparently, in Egypt, there is a tension with paper, because napkins stood out in the amount of 1 pc. per person for a meal (this is at best), toilet. there is no paper anywhere.

After getting to know the waiters, we were sometimes given toothpicks.

What can be said about the sea - full of fish, few corals and all dead; There are a lot of people, so there is a lot of garbage.

In general, despite everything, we had a great rest.
I highly recommend an excursion to Ras Mohammed by bus (take it in Naama for $ 20). At the last stop, the corals are just super - I have never seen such beauty.

And I also liked "1001 Nights" - although in my opinion it is a little expensive (also $ 20, though this is from the tour, but I have not seen such excursions in Naama)
