In Egypt for the first time, so there is, in fact, nothing to compare with.
I'll just describe what I liked and what I didn't.
Did not like:
-The first impression after arriving at the hotel is an unpleasant smell of sewerage in the area near the generator and other technical facilities. structures. To our question, the hotel employee, who delivered us and things to the room, replied that "he does not feel anything"))))
-The next unpleasant surprise was a non-working funicular.
After questioning, we found out that a short circuit had happened there, and the funik would not be repaired soon (((((And it looks beautiful, and the idea is good.
-In terms of service: sometimes I had to ask twice to do something. The hotel staff are moderately friendly, although they could have smiled more.

-Kitchen. The food is sometimes not good. Meat - everything smelled strange (I personally don't like lamb, but it all smelled like that); fruits - often were either small or green. Packaged local juices are very average. Another minus is the variety of dishes. There was a choice, but after spending a week there, I realized that at the end of the second I would just be sick of the same thing for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Separately, I will tell about the episode with fruit. They served dirty (!!! ) unwashed grapes. I took it to the reception, then Ann from Guest Relations saw this beauty, apologized many times, called the head of the hotel’s food service, he also apologized, and the two of them promised to change the situation, and she also hinted at some kind of compensation. Then, however, a fruit platter and a personal apology from Martin, the head of the power supply unit at the hotel, were delivered to our room.
- Hotel equipment. Gives a little dilapidation. In some rooms I saw old worn out backs of chairs on the terraces, in general the hotel is not new. Although, this is the most insignificant of all the shortcomings. If it weren't for the funicular, I wouldn't mark it separately.
for shortcomings, that's all.
Advantages:
-The world name of Hilton)) Hilton is Hilton. Everything is well thought out in the hotel, you feel that everything is done with care for the client. Every little thing brings joy. The room has a free electronic safe, individual air conditioning, cool furniture, even had an iron and ironing board. I don’t know if this is the norm or not, but every day the room was neatly cleaned, towels and linen were changed daily. Everything was put in order - even our personal belongings: clothes, etc.
-Beautiful area. For comparison, we went "on an excursion" to a nearby hotel - the Renaissance. I can say for sure: Hilton is much better in terms of territory planning. The Hilton is spacious, beautiful and comfortable. At all levels there are swimming pools, water - sea and fresh. It is clean and does not stink.
-Nutrition. Almost always delicious chicken, vegetables, pastries are a separate item. In general, desserts are the most delicious thing they have. Bars: generally good, the cocktail menu was changed every other day or more often, I liked the cocktails, local alcohol is normal, wine is an exception. I didn’t like the white at all, I didn’t try the red.

-Entertainment. There is a hookah in one of the cafes. Good. There are two pool tables, they are often busy, but the tables are good. Ping-pong, sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, aerobics, dancing, beach bars - everything is included in the package.
-Sea. For this it is worth going to Sharm. Right from the pontoon one could see such beauties! ! I advise everyone to definitely take a camera for underwater photography, and diving equipment - a mask, snorkel and fins.
------------------------------------
Summing up, I can say that for a European, of course, many things in Egypt (including the Hilton Waterfalls) can become a curiosity, to say the least: this is a kind of service, and cuisine, and their eastern mentality. But, of course, the immensely beautiful Red Sea compensates for everything - warm, transparent and salty.
Z. Y. I forgot to write mosquitoes in shortcomings - they were there, and if it were not for the remedy for them, we would be poor.
