The hotel is so-so. It can be worse, but this one is definitely not worth the money.

Went to this hotel with friends. - families, 2 adults + 1CHD. Chose on the advice of those who have already traveled to this hotel. We got $1350 for 8 nights + $80 for a room with a non-bush view on the whole balcony. Total $1430. The hotel does not pull unambiguously for this amount. Dollars for 700 would be just right.
Now what I didn't like:
It is not clear what kind of imbecile came up with the idea to make such numbers - In one room there is a wardrobe with a safe (a 13-inch laptop did not fit into the safe) and a bathroom. Plus a sliding door without a lock looks directly at the bed. For example, if you suddenly get up at night to go to the toilet, then at first you wake everyone up with a rattling door, and then the light from the room shines right in the face of those who sleep on the bed. We had room 1202 in the building closer to the sea, and friends lived in the main building and it was the same there. The rest of the room is normal. The lack of repair for a long time makes itself felt, in places there is fungus and mold in the bathroom, but in principle there are quite a lot of places. So for the rest, except for the dibile design of the room, I was satisfied.

The territory of the hotel - at first impression is large, but in fact there is not much to walk around. In the middle of the hotel there are two small funiculars that go straight to the canteen. One of them broke down on the third day of our stay at the hotel, and it took 10-15 minutes to go upstairs by funicular, or 5 minutes on foot uphill. Although the second option is no doubt healthier. The second side of this circumstance is that instead of rummaging around the hotel, we traveled more to the old city, then to the new one.
The beach is also not very fun. It looks big in the pictures, but it's actually not. At the beginning of December, the hotel was not very full, it's good if half - but there were simply no places on the beach. People just took mattresses and threw them on the ground where they found a place. The sunbeds are all dead and broken and there are very few of them left. About what they write in an advertisement like a sandy beach - do not believe it is impossible to swim from the sand. Entrance only from the pontoon. There are two entrances to the water - one plastic pontoon ladder to which consists of small tiles and its best days are long gone. Now each tile is on its own, and it's very funny to watch the vacationers walking on it like after a liter of vodka)). The second entrance to the sea is along wooden sleepers, which are generally wildly slippery, there is no half near the end, and those that are are stupidly lying around. It's easy to get hurt there. There are also sea urchins. The reef is so half-dead, when compared with Marsa Alam, and for the charm of the norms, I have seen worse in other places. Not many fish though. A ladder for launching into the water on a plastic pontoon is also to match everything - there is simply no half, there are only 2 crossbars in the water, the rest is broken off and when you get out of the water you need to show the wonders of acrobatics, but I personally do not like physical activity in any form)).
Food - This is a fierce tin. It is impossible to say that it is not tasty, no, it is just possible to eat. It's just that there are really a minimum of dishes, but damn it, even at home in the kitchen, the menu is much more diverse at times. For all the time there were 5 types of fruit - oranges, tangerines, persimmons, mangoes and dates. But only 3 were present at the same time, for example tangerine orange and mango. Ie in any combination but only three. Fruit except persimmons are all cut, apparently so that they are not stolen from the canteen. Everywhere there are posters like dial less. we are for food save and pictures of hungry children, which greatly contributes to appetite. Separately, in English it is written that for half-eaten food a fine of 100EGP per room, although they didn’t seem to bring anyone. There were no olives, no olives, no pickled peppers - instead there was a bowl with huge chunks of pickled carrots and something else like a radish, you could also pick out 1-2 olives and, if you're lucky, 1 pepper - although even in the nastiest hotel with these things have never been a problem at all, not once in all my trips anywhere. From seafood strictly only pangasius and that's it. Damn, the food is so minimal that I just have not seen anything like it. For example, for a snack on the beach, it was necessary to sign up in advance at the reception on a table, such as not a snack, but a la carte..... IS IT GENERALLY HOW???? ? Alacarte there 1 and also recorded on the same table. In short, if food matters to you, then DEFINITELY IS NOT WORTH TO GO (unless up to 700 dollars for three).
Regarding the fact that the hotel has a lot of Arabs. This is true. There is either Ukraine or locals, but there are not many ninjas, I can’t say that the abundance of Arabs was annoying - no, they are normal, no one climbed into the food with their hands, they didn’t shout loudly, they generally behaved no worse, or even in something better than ours.
