Good day to all! We rested in this hotel with a large family (Parents and we with a small child (2 years old)) from 03/15/2012 to 03/25/2012.
This is my first review in my life, in which I will try to state everything in detail, since before a trip I always look for detailed information about the hotel I am going to.
A few words about ourselves: We love to travel, we do not pay attention to unpleasant little things and without star disease. This is the fifth time in Egypt, but with a child for the first time and we know perfectly well the main rule of rest in Egypt - with a Smile you can solve any problem here, and a smile, supported by one dollar, generally works wonders !!!
So, about the hotel: the hotel is old, the territory is quite green but small, although it is constantly here, something is being painted, smeared, but it turns out they are not good enough.

We arrived at the hotel at 10.30. During the settlement, some of our gloomy and eternally dissatisfied compatriots were settled at 14.00 (and not earlier) in rooms “with a view of the wall”. Although some were with young children, the Egyptians were relentless!
Of the entire group of our tourists, I was the only one who smiled and we were immediately offered to see “Better Rooms”. On the fourth attempt (! ) we chose two rooms with a sea view, the most suitable for us. I did not wait for the announcement of the size of the baksheesh and silently handed over 50 dollars. for two numbers. As a result, at 11.30 we were already unpacking things in our room.
So, as I wrote above, we try not to pay attention to minor troubles, but after a week they begin to strain and willy-nilly you begin to think about the real stardom of this hotel. In particular:
There are cracked and battered tiles in the bathroom, rust smudges on the walls, stains from painting cracks are visible on the ceiling in the room, we found an anthill on the terrace! As soon as the child dropped the crumbs on the floor, a whole horde of them ran out (almost knocked them off their feet), although they were poisoned daily, but this was not crowned with particular success!
With the representatives of the "Pegasus" to communicate I lost the hunt immediately. We had a guy and a girl, the guy was “not fish or meat”, but the girl was generally “an unsatisfied person”, which we saw more often in a restaurant than at the workplace. The only thing they are good at is selling trips for TRIPLE PRICE!! ! (Jerusalem they have 220 dollars each!! ! And we sent parents 75 dollars each. And they rode in the same bus with those who took tickets for 220 dollars from Pegasus). We could not get any more or less useful information about the hotel from them.

The brightest example of the competence of the representative of "Pegasus" - Sofina, was the case on the day before departure. When I approached her and VERY politely asked: We're leaving tomorrow night, what should we do? When to release the number? When is the transfer to the airport? So, this Safina took her eyes off her laptop for a second, annoyed, defiantly arrogantly stated the following (literally) “There is a stand along the corridor - go and read it. ” From such impudence, I was taken aback and went in the indicated direction. I returned half way and asked this Safina a question - what function do you perform at this workplace? What, having heard, the accusations that I was drunk and that I had stuck here at all and wanted from her? Similar incidents with her happened to all the tourists with whom we communicated in this hotel. For any questions, she sent clients either to the reception or to the information stand. For ten days of rest, I saw this Sofina only in two forms - either sitting on the Internet, or chewing in a restaurant. I have never met the worst attitude towards customers anywhere, in any country in the world!
Internet in the hotel is very expensive!! ! USD 10 for ONE HOUR!!! ! Therefore, on the second day I bought a local DATA-SIM with 1 gigabyte of traffic for 20 dollars... and voila, I have Internet in my room! Although they promise free WI-FI by the summer, but I think it's just a "lure".
Once for the entire stay, you can go to the Italian restaurant for free by appointment. After this visit we had unpleasant impressions……. They recorded us at 20.30 (as it turned out later, not only us alone). We waited in line for 10 minutes just to get into the restaurant. The head waiter kissed the hand of all the ladies at the entrance and seated them very nicely at the table. That's where the good times ended for us. 45 (! ) minutes we waited for the menu. We immediately began to sell dishes that are not included in the ALL system. As it turned out, the range of free dishes there, to put it mildly, is very scarce - you can take one salad, one main course and one dessert for free! We then waited another 30 minutes to order. At the 30-minute wait, we gave the waiter a children's "Drinker" and asked to pour juice for the child there. After ONE HOUR AND 20 MINUTES (!!!!!!! ) of our waiting in this "wonderful" restaurant, we lost our patience! We got up from the table at 21.50, with undisguised sarcasm, I thanked the manager for the "excellent dinner", demanded back my daughter's "drinker" and left. We arrived at the main restaurant 10 minutes before closing. And they had a great dinner there (that evening they served grilled crabs). We must pay tribute to the manager of the Italian restaurant, who after 15 minutes came to us in the main restaurant with an apology and two pizzas. We accepted them coldly and reluctantly, but nevertheless, explaining to him that we could not wait almost an hour and a half for a dish to be served with a small, two-year-old child. After leaving, he soon returned with a free invitation to the Bedouin Restaurant, two beautiful cocktails, and again with an apology. We accepted apologies and cocktails, but did not dare to repeat our deplorable experience in a Bedouin restaurant. And as they say in that joke, "The sediment on the soul still remained. "
Of the positive aspects, I would like to note the food according to the ALL system - For the level of Egyptian hotels, everything was very tasty and varied. For every dinner there was a new grill (Lulya kebab, fish, squid, chicken, crabs, etc. ).

Although we did not find a "children's table" for ten days of rest.
The service staff is very attentive and friendly. Any request is fulfilled unquestioningly, and a small baksheesh gives the fulfillment of this request an amazing "Instantaneous"!!!
Room cleaning is beyond praise! For 5 pounds of baksheesh, we had swans, hearts, fish, elephants constantly twisted from towels in our room - the child was simply delighted !!!
I would also like to note the excellent attitude of the Arabs to our daughter and to children in general.
Animation in the hotel is not bad enough. Every Thursday evening there is a "Beach Party" on the beach for $8. from a person. We read negative reviews about this event before leaving, but still decided to go…. . And now we can say with confidence - DO NOT GO THERE!!! ! It's just a waste of money!! ! As for me, the free, daily animation in the hotel is much more interesting.
From the hotel to the "Old Town" and "Naama Bay" buses run daily for 20 pounds round trip per person. We went by taxi - to the "old city" - 10 pounds, to "Naama Bay" - 20 pounds, one way.
The ratio of Russian speakers in the hotel is approximately 70%. But we were lucky - we did not meet drunken, scandalous and noisy compatriots. Although the hotel was 99% full.
There were a lot of mosquitoes and flies in the hotel. So, if you want to come here, stock up on funds from them. The weather was windy, out of 10 days of rest the beach was closed for five days!
Summing up all of the above, we came to the conclusion that most likely we will not go to this hotel anymore, as we have been to others much better in terms of level, and for the same money.
In general, they were satisfied with the rest..... it's still better than working !! !
