I want to say right away that we did not like the hotel at first sight. First, it is located far from the city center. We read a lot of reviews, there were a lot of negative ones, but we couldn’t even think that everything was so bad. The hotel is dirty, the restaurant (if I may say so) is completely unsanitary with flies. Numbers, to put it mildly, none. The carpet on the floor was so dirty that we asked the cleaner to take it away. Often there were interruptions in hot water.
The staff is arrogant, everything needs to be repeated and asked several times. There was often the impression that we did not pay them money for the rest, but they paid us. Because we needed everything. We only liked the guy who cleaned the room. He was the most conscientious.
The food is poor and monotonous. Meat, one, extremely rarely, two kinds, and every day the same side dishes: potatoes, rice and pasta. The vegetables were tasteless olives, cucumbers and tomatoes. Of the fruits, dates and oranges pleased several times. They actually had good pastries. For breakfast, as elsewhere, they fry an omelet. If it wasn't for the buns, we would have left hungry at breakfast. Of the drinks, only beer was normal. Coffee and tea are delicious!

The beach is not bad, the best memory of the hotel. Entrance to the sea - corals. Be sure to buy special shoes. Minus the beach - the bus traveled irregularly. Why is it not on schedule, no one explained to us.
Our greatest joy was the trip to Cairo and Alexandria. We made conclusions for ourselves upon arrival - no more experiments in similar hotels like the Horizon Sharm Resort. But we ourselves are to blame, we read the negative reviews and went anyway. Don't repeat our mistakes!
