Booked a hotel without high expectations, but was unexpectedly pleasantly surprised. I just read the description before booking and chose consciously, and not "on the advice" of managers in tour companies. From pluses - very beautiful, well-groomed territory; the absence of Egypt's traditional "pushing in" of aid and services in order to get baksheesh; nice, cozy and large room, which was regularly cleaned, clean bedding and towels - I left tips; quite decent pools for adults and children. I would even say that the approach to guests is somewhat reminiscent of the European one - no one bothers you with offers of help, services and goods, but when you have a problem (like mine with a safe in the room, for example), they will always help you, tell you and will explain.
The staff is quite friendly, but without being pushy, which pleases. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning (the carrier postponed the flight) and I was immediately checked into a room and given a bracelet, without any additional payments and tips, although according to the rules of check-in from 14:00, as in all of Egypt. Far from everyone knows Russian, so knowledge of English will certainly be a big plus for a vacationer, it helped me. What else pleased - despite the very small number of tourists (I managed to come to Ramadan), in the evening the whole territory shone like during the day, they also turned on color music and lights everywhere. It's a pity that Hollywood itself did not work on holidays, including the light show of the fountains. But the law is the law - the hotel has nothing to do with it. I think in our country the hotel would leave one lantern on the territory, so as not to overpay for electricity with so many vacationers. Here, they didn’t save on guests - the territory and pools were also regularly cleaned.
The hotel is a good choice for those who want to make time for excursions, including diving and snorkeling on the side, and do not mind the pool and beautiful grounds. When Hollywood starts working, I think it will be great in general, animation will really not be needed. Many thanks to the staff at the reception for their help and attention, good luck to you guys - the hotel is clearly underestimated by tourists.

Of the minuses that I understood in advance, so I didn’t have any disappointment, there are two of them:
1. The beach is not on the territory of the hotel, but in the city, you have to go to it. The shuttle to the beach runs regularly 3 times a day, even if you are going to the beach alone, you will still be taken there and picked up (free of charge). As with lighting and accommodation, there is none of the sloppiness that comes with our hotels in Palma. But the beach itself is weak. But this was expected, I knew for a long time that Sharm is a good resort for diving and snorkeling, for good beaches it is better to go to Hurghada where I was before, there are also good beaches in Sharm, but there are not many of them and usually in very expensive 5. Therefore, I preferred the pool more, as European tourists often do, and not only in Egypt, by the way. I saw a young couple with sour faces and realized that they obviously missed the hotel and the resort and did not understand where they were going. Then they will probably tell that there is nothing to do in Egypt, although they simply went to the wrong place for the "turquoise sea".
2. Food and sanitation in the restaurant. I won’t write here for a long time, read the reviews on most hotels in Sharm... I already wrote that Egypt in the early 2000s and now, these are 2 different Egypts, so it’s useless to blame the hotel here, the whole country has changed for the worse, as well as our countries CIS. Say "thank you" to the globalization and monopolization of the tourism market. But I did not expect the sterility and quality of the buffet that I had in Hurghada in 2004 comparable to Europe, so I was not very disappointed. I agree with most reviews on cuisine in different hotels in Sharm - you will not be hungry)))
