This can be compared to the fact that, as if you were running a marathon of life all in fuss and in tension to the limit of physical and mental strength ... , and then you ended up in a small closed Paradise, in which real, painfully desired rest in silence and complete peace, which you have been searching for so long, longing for with all your being ...

The spacious, comfortable rooms of the hotel have elegant interiors, decorated in the style of the southern Mediterranean, furnished with comfortable elegant furniture and decorated with decorative elements.
Sea View Room - standard room with sea view. The area of the room is 38 sq. m. This number was given to me, according to the purchased tour. In the room of furniture, in addition to its standard set, there are a number of furniture elements that increase the comfort of the room.
These are: a small double sofa, two coffee tables, a work table with an easy chair, a wide ottoman, two floor lamps, a cozy cosmetic corner with a large mirror and a soft high chair, a minibar and a coffee and tea corner, built into a special closed pedestal, above which there are glass shelves with glasses, goblets and a vase of flowers.
On the balcony, in addition to a large glass coffee table with two wrought-iron chairs, there is also a deck chair with a soft mattress for horizontal relaxation: you can arrange a beach and sunbathe right on the balcony.
Original and bathroom, which has its own characteristics. It consists of four compartments: a shower room - behind a transparent glass door, a separate toilet - behind a frosted glass door. Opposite is an acrylic bathtub, and straight ahead is a wide washbasin with a large and small cosmetic mirror.
Plastic bottles with quality shampoo, lotion and gel with Dead Sea minerals are replenished daily. All fittings in the bathroom are of the highest class and work flawlessly.
In general, residential buildings have poor sound insulation.
And what catches the eye is the abundance of objects and pieces of furniture with glass. It is difficult, perhaps, to find a place or furniture, except for the bed and the cabinet under the TV, where there would be no glass! I counted more than twenty (! ) "glass" objects: five glass doors and a partition (between the shower and toilet), five glass countertops, six mirrors, five glass shelves, plus glassware, a vase and other trifles ...Glass, originality of decor items from glass, of course, impresses with its sophistication.
But I thought: it is very true that the hotel abandoned the food system (with alcoholic drinks) according to the All inclusive system (while the coordination of your movements is always under control) and keeps prices for tours high. I can’t imagine our drunken man after such a “freebie” - nothing more than an elephant in a china shop ...And if you consider that for each broken glass tabletop there is a fine of $ 75 (read in one of the reviews), then everything will result in a tidy sum ..."Mom, don't worry"! Yes, and I, even being a convinced teetotaler during Lent, walked sideways and on tiptoe past this glass, so as not to accidentally touch and break it ...
The overall impression of the room - the highest class!
The territory of the hotel is 35 hectares and on it is the Royal Palace, with a chic architectural ensemble of buildings and structures, cascading pools, numerous fountains and waterfalls, as well as an artificially arranged river called "Lazy River".
And all this is buried in the greenery of many hundreds, if not thousands, huge, under the very sky, and small, pretty like barrels, palm trees and original compositions of garden and park design.
The hotel somehow reminded me of the Livadia Royal Palace in the Crimea or other similar palaces. The same gracefulness of buildings - truly royal chambers in the architectural ensemble around the main building, especially on its right side, where there are modestly called conference rooms with a chic dance hall, an enclosed courtyard with pools and numerous fountains. From the side of the flat-mountain part of the hotel there is a separate entrance with antique (under the style) wrought iron gates and two gates on the sides, also made of wrought iron in the same style. There is even a forged coat of arms on the gates and gates.
And from the side of the sea and the terraces on the steep coast, all these buildings look even more impressive and graceful: they are made of white stone symmetrically in composition, their main entrances are decorated with high columns, porticos, loggias, terraces and other architectural “decorations”. The entrance to them is in the form of wide ramps with stone side railings and antique lanterns.
This whole chic ensemble is located on the seventh floor, even symbolically, it seems to be in the "Seventh Heaven".
The hotel is world class! And therefore, it is not in vain that conferences at the highest world level are held in the halls of the Palace, governmental, state and corporate, with world-famous names, delegations from foreign countries.
Yes, such a hotel could be considered the Palace of the modern Egyptian Pharaoh - the country residence of the President of Egypt, so luxurious is the territory throughout the area, from the main building to the very edge of the water - the beach. And maybe this will happen soon? After all, the place and the architectural base are unique...
When you leave the lobby, the chic not only does not disappear, but even increases. This chicness, as it were, breaks out of the imprisonment of the royal penates and is thrown with all its might into freedom, under the open sky! It is freed from the closed salons of human habitation and therefore, in complete submission to its tastes and comfort, it unfolds freely in the open world of Nature, where the imagination of a brilliant designer has no limits. And the genius of the architect threw out such masterpieces of architecture and landscape design that you just exclaim: “Ah! ..
”and you can’t say anything more, so as not to humiliate to the limit those masterpieces that you see with your eyes, but you feel and perceive with your Soul ...
Below this complex of chic and architecturally original buildings of the Palace, to the very Red Sea, a wonderful park is laid out with the most rational use of slopes and terraces. On this entire slope, thirty meters high and several hectares down to the sea, on five terraces, architectural masterpieces are arranged in the open air.
There are several waterfalls here, one of which starts right in the lobby of the main building, over which a neat wooden bridge is laid and comfortable easy chairs and coffee tables are placed. Further, the same waterfall, flowing down the glass wall to the height of the floor, found shelter right in the middle of the Cafe Fresco restaurant hall.
Here, literally a meter away from the falling water of the waterfall, I sat down at a table and with pleasure stretched out the breakfast time. At the same time, even the fact that in such a prestigious WIP-class hotel they do not serve red fish, balyk cuts and other delicacies for breakfast, as in other hotels of this level, faded into the background, and I enjoyed the natural sound of water in the waterfall ...How strangely enough, but at the moment spiritual food was more significant for me.
Subsequently, this waterfall, having escaped from its confinement in the main building of the hotel, gained freedom in the open air, turned into a turbulent stream among rocks and large blocks of stones, fell with noise down into the first cascading pool and into the "Lazy River". The river came to life and, with even greater excitement, began to run in a wide circle, delighting those vacationing here on sun loungers under umbrellas, and especially children.
All pools offer a beautiful panoramic view of the sea.
Continuing to describe the hotel as a Royal Palace, it is impossible not to note how the mini palaces of the private fashionable zone “Regency Club” (hotel within a hotel) organically fit into it - for lovers of luxury holidays: their own area on the beach, separate bars, a swimming pool, a wooden pontoon - pier 30 m.
The hotel can be considered as a whole really like the Royal Palace, but only up to a certain level. For now, do not take into account the two wings of residential buildings to the left and right of the main hotel building. These are eight buildings, like other buildings of the hotel in the club area, with poetic names: "Acacia", "Azalea", "Jasmine", "Gardenia", "Coral", "Topaz", "Opal" ...These buildings are located the cheapest, but quite comfortable, with a good fresh renovation of rooms for the "mass consumer" with quite acceptable minimum prices.

In the hotel, I found a successful maximum combination of everything that I have been striving for over the past two years, flying to Egypt about two dozen times: these are the best corals in the Coral Gardens and the hotel area, with original architectural solutions and no less amazing landscape - park design.
I was convinced of this on the very first day of my stay at the hotel, when I walked through the Palaces next to the main building, then around the hotel, and in the evening I plunged into the underwater world of the Red Sea and really ended up in the "Coral Gardens", which I could leave only late in the evening, when the sun began to set behind the mountains and the lifeguard began to whistle incredibly persistently ...
Nutrition. Supply system. Hotel guests. The Hyatt Regency Sharm 5* hotel is one of the few hotels in Egypt that has decided to defend its individuality and follow the traditions of the Hyatt Regency global hotel chain. First of all, to abandon the usual, natural and inseparable from Egypt (as well as from Turkey and Tunisia) "All inclusive" food system. And all because this power system would underestimate the level of the network too much. “The joy of an alcoholic and a glutton” I would call the “All inclusive” food system.
But perhaps the rejection of the "All inclusive" food system is a very significant way to "shave off" a certain contingent of "guests" that is undesirable for the hotel.
Restaurant "Cafe Fresco" - the main restaurant, with a maximum of 200 seats, located in the main building of the hotel. Breakfast and dinner are served here. For breakfast, a buffet is served. There are no special originalities for breakfast and, moreover, no delicacies (sliced red fish, salmon, boiled meat, etc. ), which I am used to in fashionable restaurants of the same WIP class and for the same money, are not in the hotel. And each of the seven days is the same...
If the food (in particular breakfast) wants to be the best, then the interior of the Cafe Fresco restaurant is beyond praise! What is worth only one waterfall in the middle of the restaurant hall! And the sound of falling water from a height of four meters, which is heard not only in the restaurant, but throughout the lobby!
And wooden bridges over the pool into which water falls ...And the second tier behind the fountain with tables a meter or two from falling water ...I loved to sit at one of these tables, have a leisurely breakfast and enjoy the sound of falling water ...Everything in the restaurant, including , parquet flooring - in natural wood in light tones and shining through the lacquered surface.
On the days of mass arrivals, the Souk Restorant restaurant opens and operates at full capacity, and professional artists of various genres perform on the stage of the restaurant until late at night.
The beach, as well as, in general, the hotel is unusual. The beach area is separated from the rest of the hotel by a wide, five meters wide embankment with tall old palm trees that give the impression of a green corridor and flower bushes under them.
Immediately behind the embankment, below the cascading pools, there is a staircase, as well as a smooth descent to the sea.
All the splendor of the architectural ensemble is observed from the Palace buildings at the very top and down, right down to the sandy strip of the beach! You can also get to the beach through the original cave passage-tunnel with walls and a vaulted ceiling imitating the texture of huge natural stones. On a hot afternoon, it’s nice to walk through this underground coolness, and not climb the mountain along steps or long descents.
The beach is 350m long. with a plastic pontoon 68 m long.
On the main beach, in addition to the pontoon, there is also a sandy entrance to the sea. It is located opposite the Diving Center.
The beach is original, first of all, in that it is sandy almost along its entire length, and at sea level. And when the sea is very close and comes almost to your sunbed, and besides, it makes noise with the surf with sandy rustling - isn't this a charm that you have become accustomed to since childhood?

In the hotels of Egypt, I appreciate two things: the territory with architecture and landscape and park design, as the creation of the hands of a human creator, and the Red Sea with its natural gift - corals, not yet destroyed by the same man, but already a barbarian.
From the hotel begins the "Coral Gardens" in the bay of Naama Bay. Right next to the pontoon, at a depth of 5-7 meters, there is a large meadow for the entire length of the hotel's beach (which is 300m) and a hundred meters wide with a sandy flat bottom. And in this natural glade, real underwater coral gardens have grown over millions of years. Both long coral islands, several meters long, and individual corals, a meter or more high, rise everywhere from the bottom. And the coral islands are plastered on all sides, surprisingly, with corals of various shapes and colors. Surprising, first of all, their fabulous shape. Indeed, such unrealistic pictures could only be imagined in a fairy tale.
Because such a miracle does not happen in our real life on Earth. And here, under water, you see them in reality in the form of wonderful gardens of fan and gorgonian corals. And coral towers and massive coral blocks are scattered along the sandy bottom, among which a variety of reef fish scurry about. And this is with very clear water, when visibility reaches 20-25 meters!
The fabulousness of corals is also emphasized by the fact that all corals, with all the intricacies of their branches, beautiful and delicate, seemingly soft, like fluffs and lumps of bright crimson or purple, in fact, are hard and petrified, as if under the spell of an evil wizard. And, in addition to the variety of forms and types of corals, their bright colors delight, which is a rare exception for corals. Here you can often find pale white, but dull-bright corals in the form of short, but dense columns with processes on the sides.
Even more colored corals, from bright crimson to deep purple. And there are a lot of beige and brown ones, at every step.
Swimming in the coral gardens, I involuntarily compared them with the gardens on the territory of the Hyatt Regency Sharm hotel - just as beautiful, but created on the basis of Nature by the hands of Man and presented to us for contemplative enjoyment in the form of masterpieces of garden and park landscape design. Here, on the territory of the same hotel, it looked like a competition between the genius of Man and the genius of Nature: who will create beauty more skillfully and more wonderfully? The hotel is precisely the arena where two compete in the manifestation of their talent: Man and Nature. And in my description of the hotel, I will try, as an objective commentator, to convey to the reader the course of this competition, so that the reader himself determines: Who - whom?
First of all, I am surprised that the Coral Gardens have grown in natural conditions in this very place, off the coast of the hotel. So, here is the most favorable place for life in general. And this once again confirms my version that the territory of this hotel, together with the coastal zone, is a "Place of Good". And there are plenty of reasons for this.
Fish of the Red Sea. Sharks at the corals
In the biocenosis of the Red Sea, everything is interconnected. The abundance of corals off the coast of the Hyatt Regency Hotel opens up a wide food base for other inhabitants of the deep sea, in particular, fish. And where there is a lot of food, there are also a lot of fish, since for them food, and not the Sun, as for corals, is the main condition for existence and development.
The abundance of food that is tasty for fish on corals is also confirmed by the fact that surprised me that here the fish do not react to third-party food from our terrestrial environment: bread or a boiled egg; it is neither tasty nor interesting to them, compared to the "yummy" that grows on corals.
Due to the fact that there are many corals off the coast of the hotel, more than near any other hotel on the Red Sea coast, there is also a wide variety of colored fish that find the most food on these corals. Here I met such new species of fish, which I have not seen anywhere else. Such an abundance of fish in one place, in theory, should cause competition at the "feeder" and at the place under the Sun or for their territory. Here, I did not observe this, since the corals had plenty of food and everyone had enough of it.
But, the most interesting thing, with a touch of horror, will follow further.
A large number of peaceful fish in the Coral Gardens naturally attract marine predators, including sharks, as prey! After all, this is Nature: predators also want to live and live by fish, of which there are an incredibly large number. And along the way, taste a person ...(Yes, let the humanists forgive me for such a literary device). But, “to be afraid of wolves, do not go into the forest! "But there is still some danger ...Yes, and all these openings, crevices and ledges in coral reefs and between them are a great place where you can quietly hide in anticipation of prey - fish, and I admit, even a person ...And every time, swimming between reefs, I cautiously glance at these crevices and remember the warning sign on the shore: "Bathing is at the personal responsibility and risk of the swimmer.
