Hello! We have just returned from Sharm El Sheikh, I will try to share my impressions while they are fresh ; -) Our vacation turned out to be spontaneous, we took last-minute trips two days before departure, so the choice was not very large. . guided by the principle of sunbathing and swimming in the sea with fish. . our favorite manager Gulechka from Grand TourVoyage (we always buy tickets from her! ) honestly warned - do not expect anything from the hotel - but the sea is cool there! with such parting words, we flew in... in Egypt, we are not the first time, the hotels were 5 *. . and only in Makadi 4 * IBEROTEL but there is such a four that, I now understand, not every five pulls... maybe we are a little spoiled, but you can navigate according to our priority scale  . . In general, in my opinion, a solid trio! Of course, there are attempts to pull on a four with a minus. . but these are such variable components... for example, the animator girls tried very hard, the bartenders were charming, cheerful and tried to compensate for the meager assortment of drinks with an excellent mood and good knowledge of Russian. . a strict manager at the reception named Ula is obligatory, accurate and, despite the outward seriousness, very responsive... So this is it... MINUSES that immediately catch your eye: 1) There is NO drinking water in the rooms (this is in the desert then), there is not even a minibar, that is, a refrigerator available, but it is completely empty and not even plugged into the outlet. . 2) in the bar from drinks, water (in coolers) and powdered drinks (it’s better not to give children - allergies are guaranteed! ) cola, fanta BEHIND the bar counter, only the bartender pours, in the central restaurant the same thing. . Of the alcohol in the bar on the beach, only beer and that's it... by the pool and in the lobby there is also rum, whiskey, vodka in cocktails. . cocktails are simple: rum-cola... well, ice... no lime. . no decorations. . no liqueurs…no syrups…wine ONLY in the restaurant during lunch and dinner…no bars! even in the lobby bar. . there are no natural juices... even for a fee... 3) there are practically no fruits... cut oranges, tangerines, peeled bananas in sweetened water. . even quince and then cut. . melon in the morning in pieces and as decorations... a few pomegranates, also disassembled... well, not even apples... not to mention strawberries. . although in the minimarket at the hotel 1 kg is only $ 2. . 4) the range of food is not very large and varied, from meat: either chicken and fish or beef and fish. . but the truth is of excellent quality (What is, is), of course you won’t leave hungry. . 5) go to the beach on foot for 15 minutes or by bus for 10 minutes (you must definitely take tickets at the reception... runs every 15 minutes). . Well, we went exclusively on foot... firstly, it is useful... secondly, you can walk through the territory of 5 *-ki. . interesting  . . you need to look for good places on the beach with mushroom tables (we usually occupied the second, third "level" - this is actually a 5 * territory), but there are always free sunbeds. . 6) you can’t go into the sea from the beach! even up to the knee! Only from the pontoon! You can't stand on coral reefs! Not for a minute! That is, in the water, only swim, jumped into the water or went down the shaky ladder and no respite. . there to correct the mask or fins. . nothing like this! only afloat. . this is closely monitored by special boys who sit on chairs on pontoons and whistle at the slightest approach to the corals. . undoubtedly they are needed - to keep order... so that especially zealous tourists do not try to feed the fish. . tear off corals. . well, just do for safety... but this is the first time I meet. . not to get up. . and it cannot be said that the corals are unique (as everywhere) or, for example, there are a lot of sea urchins. . in the end there are special shoes... well, no-no!! ! For those who feel insecure in the water like swimmers or children, for example, there is little good... 7) in the hotel 90% of Russians and Ukrainians... there are very few foreigners... this is also a minus, since it would be nice to dilute our compatriots... well, respectively, and drinking... showdowns. . scandals at night in the rooms are also present... 8) no Wi-Fi. . Internet for a fee... More about the waiters. . it looks like luck... on the very first evening, the four of us sat down in a restaurant by the open veranda - our friends smoke so as not to run far... the tables were not set because most had already had dinner (we arrived late in the evening, but not before the curtain - the restaurant until 22-00, and we came at 21-10) but we were not proud to go for appliances, napkins. . the waiter paid no attention to us... he didn’t even take the plates. . our guys went to the veranda to smoke, there are also tables... also no longer covered. . asked for an ashtray. . the same waiter (this is his area) did not particularly bother rearranging a used table full of other people's cigarette butts from the next table... But we were tired... lyrically tuned... we didn’t make any comments... and even leaving we left a dollar. . the next morning history began to repeat itself. . the same waiter. . did not say hello... did not bring appliances... did not put salt and pepper. . we took coffee and modestly waited. . minutes 30. . to no avail... even wondering if he would pay attention to us? Yes, it never happened... with a stone expression on his face, he passed by... until the rare foreigners here came to the next table. . and we look at our bad-beech waiter rushed behind the cutlery, changed the tablecloth, and even knows how to smile... For some reason, such discrimination offended us... we are decent people... we know how to behave at the table... we even know forks and knives  . . Yes, and it's a shame for the State! We went and complained to the Ule manager (also very correct and intelligent)... she listened with a very calm expression on her face. . promised to sort it out) And we defiantly moved to the other half of the restaurant... And there is a completely different matter. . the waiters - young Mahmud and, as he introduced himself, Antoshka, smiling and joking, always had time to set the tables, were polite and helpful. . they remembered who drinks what drinks and brought us on their own... and this was without recommendations from the manager... she said this only the next day, when the senior in the restaurant came (he was a day off) The senior officially apologized to us, they sent a compliment to the room - a basket with fruits and long-awaited bottled water. . asked if there would be more claims to speak to him personally... But there were no claims. . after all, this is a human factor... the rest of the waiters were sincere, hospitable, very quick and charming. . and the bartenders are just great guys! Now the PROS: 1) the rooms are not bad…. and clean... 2) we arrived late at 21-00, but settled in 5 minutes. . good numbers. . convenient location. . without additional incentives. . 3) there is a safe in every room… 4) they clean it… linen and towels are changed… even without a tip… if there are mosquitoes in the room, tell the reception, they will process it, no problems… no flies, ants, moths. . air conditioners work... TV-4 Russian programs (if you have time to watch). . 5) volleyball, billiards, water polo, darts, pin-pong. . gym. . exercises-aqua aerobics. . dancing. . karaoke (girls animators Natasha from Tambov and Masha from Chelyabinsk try very hard, everyone will help, tell you, even just chatting is always happy) 6) you can go for a walk in Savoy, not far from the hotel there is a street of boutique cafes... there is even a cinema. . and Wi-Fi is free in cafes…fun. . but it's really expensive ; -)- bargain 7) One pool is cold, the second is heated, good water slides. . 8) and of course the gorgeous warm Red Sea! fish of all colors, colors and sizes! The sun! Palm trees! everything blooms and smells... In general, it’s good to relax!  ))
