Egypt is love at first sight (to paraphrase the famous phrase “love at first sight”)! The Red Sea is considered to be the warmest sea on earth, thanks to which it attracts a wide variety of marine animals. Here you can meet about a thousand species of marine life: corals, starfish, turtles, dolphins, seahorses, various types of fish, moray eels, etc.
I flew with my parents in September 2009, it was the best week of vacation in my life. I will deliberately skip all the fuss of the airport and the flight, this is the price you have to pay for the rest, and then enjoy the whole week (for someone maybe more... lucky ones) the sun, the sea and the hospitality of the staff.
We approached the choice of a hotel very seriously and scrupulously, for about several weeks we chose a hotel, the main criteria of which were cuisine, service, access to the sea from the beach and from the pontoon, as well as the presence of a volleyball field (some come across without one). Almost immediately we stopped at the Sierra Hotel (4 * “copy” of Savvoy), but as we were told, it is very difficult for a Russian person to get to this hotel during the season (we have such a recommendation . . among the Slavs . . it’s a shame), after reading tons of reviews, all the same, we stopped at the Sol Sharm hotel, for which we are very grateful to the travel truth and similar sites (I will not give the entire list so as not to advertise the competitors of this site).
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were met by a kind doorman who helped us with the luggage, approached the administrator, and after a short conversation we received the keys to the room. Settlement is one of the responsible events, pay attention to the completeness and serviceability of all equipment. Although we got a great room, the disadvantages were: 1) we did not have enough towels, and 2) the door to the balcony did not close. A call to the Service room solved all the problems, the towel was brought in a couple of minutes, and the carpenter came in 15 minutes, and fixed the problem in 3 minutes. That's it, no more complaints. The room is clean, the furniture is good, the sheets are white. After that, we managed to run to the sea and swim... From the surging emotions and feelings of euphoria, I thought I would be torn into small pieces! It was "something with something"
Animation completely suited me, they didn’t sit idle, aerobics, aqua aerobics, water polo, volleyball, discotheques in the evening, shows, although some “experienced” ones said that the animation was so-so, some were good... how many people, so many opinions.
About food…. A huge bow to the chefs, on the very first evening we ate so much....That they didn’t go anywhere in the evening... but simply passed out and slept until morning. The food throughout the week was varied, tasty and fresh. In general 5+
Fans of the underwater world… objectively, of course, rather weak… there are few corals, few fish, the water is a bit muddy… but there is a way out…. You can walk to the “baron” (about 1 km to the right), there is plenty of all this (just hide towels and bracelets... so that there are no conflicts with the guards)
I really didn’t want to leave, but I hope to get there soon, after traveling around Europe, if I win from Fairy
