I decided to write a review after the expiration, so that the first emotions subsided! (were on vacation in April 2010) The most interesting thing is that even now I can't remember anything bad! So:
1. Location - the hotel is located in the north of the city, about 15 kilometers from the Old Market. In general, it is difficult to call Sharm a city - just a huge mass of hotels and a small area where local Arabs live. There is an airfield next to the hotel, which does not interfere at all, but on the contrary - it's cool to look at the planes. The hotel is located on the second line, which did not bother us at all - if you want to go to the beach on the shuttle bus, if you want, go on foot. Just seven minutes walk to the sea. Cross the road - no problem! Cars rarely drive there and the police are constantly on duty at the crossing! Cross the road - just shops adjoining the hotel Jazz Belvedere. You can buy everything there except strong alcohol. Souvenirs are even cheaper than in other hotels. Nearby on the same road is the famous Baron Hotel. In the evening, it is quite possible to walk there and go shopping at the hotel. We walked completely without problems and quite safely, because of the locals there are only attendants and policemen.
2. Hotel - three two-story buildings. Rooms with all amenities and air conditioning. Who on the second floor - with balconies, on the first with terraces. The rooms are quite normal, they clean every day, and if you leave a dollar, they will lick everything! The staff is just "friendly" - contact and help in everything. They feed "for slaughter" - they ate so much that they barely got to the room! The hotel has two swimming pools - children's and adult. People are splashing enough for beer nearby, beer in a bar - swam, drank, dived. The beauty! In the evening live music and various shows. We really enjoyed!

3. Beach - small, but private, next to Jaz Belvedere beach. We had no problems with a place on the beach - we came at 8-30 local time (there is an hour earlier, which means in our opinion - at 9-30). The beach is sandy, clean, there is also sand in the water, but there are islands of corals. And the corals are pretty decent. Fish - like in an aquarium - a huge number and all different! And if you walk five minutes to the cape at the Baron - there is generally charm! BUT DON'T SWIM FAR! The current is imperceptible but STRONG! It cost me a lot of work to swim to the shore, and in fins!
Also on the beach there is a bar with great beer! There is a pool with water aerobics with other shaping. And they played volleyball until they were green - the Rossi team for the European team, and then they celebrated victory or defeat in the bar!
4. Excursions - according to your desire. We went on a day trip to Abu Galum. Awesome!! ! Through the mountain desert in jeeps, the Bedouin village, the off-road gorge in front of the Arabian Gulf, the camel trip, the "Blue Abyss" and all this for 50 bucks from the nose! My wife is not a fan of extreme tourism, and she was glowing with happiness!
Ras Mohamed Water Reserve - our neighbors went - they say that Baron's is no worse and for free! Mount Moses, according to one man, is a waste of money, time, and a long shoe cleaning from camel droppings! Cairo - 10 percent of brilliance and 90 percent of complete poverty! Is it interesting for you?
And a summary - if you don’t need to eat truffles and drink Bordeaux every day, but you like outdoor activities, but such that there was no time to read a book (I read a page and a half in a WEEK), and you don’t have the amount to buy a vacation of 5 -ty stars, then you are in Sol Sharm! (a 9-day tour for me and my wife cost 43 thousand rubles) And if they offer me to go there again - WITH PLEASURE!
