We will not go to Sol Sharm for the second time.
Always before choosing a hotel, I read the reviews of tourists. Therefore, I found time to write about Sol Sharma. I hope my review will help someone not to spoil their holiday. Rested in Sol Sharm since January 15th. Departure from Kaliningrad. Tour operator Pegasus. For two, they paid 49 thousand rubles. For 10 days. All inclusive.
Briefly about the pros and cons of the hotel, for those who have no time to read the entire review. First, about the pros. 1- Normal food in the restaurant. Not by the pool, not on the beach, but in the hotel restaurant. 2-The attitude towards the Russians is good. Everyone is smiling and welcoming. 3-The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, although quite small. 4- The beach is close - 5 minutes walk. Although not big, but there are no problems with sunbeds. Sunset in the sea is sandy. Everything else is a total waste. Disgusting accommodation. For $100 they gave us a terrible room. I had to swear at the reception the next day. Very far from the city. Taxi is very expensive. The rooms have cardboard doors. From the corridor there is a terrible noise from the carts of cleaners and neighbors passing back and forth. Around the construction site, a roar. Get ready for 2 stone crushers to wake you up at 7 am. If they don’t give you a more or less calm number, you won’t fall asleep to the roar of the disco. The beach and pool are full of flies. Lie quietly and sunbathe will not work. There were mosquitoes on the 1st floor. Ice pool. The water in it is 15 degrees. Now, for those who are interested, in more detail.

Pegasus for some reason postponed our flight from January 15 to January 14, for the night. 4 hours flew by. We got to the hotel at almost 6 am. We paid 100 bucks for a nice room because we were very tired. I wanted peace and quiet. The room seemed good. 2116. With windows overlooking the pool, on the 2nd floor. In the morning, behind the fence, which is immediately behind the main pool, a stone crusher started working. Believe me, it is very audible. Crushes the entire daylight hours. In the bathroom, a disgusting pressure of water was revealed, now boiling water, then ice. Washed with difficulty. The air conditioner only worked for cooling. And at night in winter in Egypt is not hot. In the evening, after the animation, the disco swelled. I went to reception at 2 am. They called, reasoned with the disco, promised to change the number tomorrow. And for some reason, drunken people from the disco climbed onto the playground, yelling, jumping on a children's trampoline. And all this is under our cardboard door. Fell asleep at 4 am. It's been 2 sleepless nights. The next day, the number was changed to 3116. Stone crushers can also be heard. Behind the door of the room is a service room. Cleaning carts start to roll along the corridor from 7-30. People go to breakfast. Perfect audibility, as if there is no door at all. True, the water pressure was excellent, the air conditioner worked for heating, the discos were not audible. And thanks for the $100 extra. Bed linen was never changed in 10 days. Almost every review writes about strange beds in the rooms (was they written off from the hospital? ). But for some reason, the administration of this hotel cares little about people's opinions. By the way, there is a hair dryer in the bathroom. Quite convenient to use.
Now about the hotel itself. It is the penultimate one in Sharm el-Sheikh. The last one is Jaz Belvedere, a 5 star hotel. We went to duty free in Soho, where the Savoy hotel is. Taxi from Sol Sharma to Soho - $10 round trip. Drive 10 minutes. Shop with high prices. Didn't buy anything. Then we learned that there is a dutik in the Old Town and Nyami Bay, where the bus from the hotel runs. To the Old Market - 4 euros per person. There and back again. To Nyami - 3 euros. It takes 30 minutes to drive from the hotel.
On the left is Sol Sharma and between the hotel and the sea is a construction site. And not sluggish current, as some wrote, but quite active. At 7 am, 2 stone crushers start working. They hammer so that you can hear the sea. Maybe Sol Siren is quieter? Don't know. Hotels have one owner. Located across the alley.
Nutrition. Normal. Were in Hurghada in Coral Beach the year before last. The food was disgusting. In Sol Sharm, the food was good.
Beach. Sandy. Shared fence with Jaz Belvedere. In January, the water in the sea is cold in the morning. Few bathed. Warms up in the afternoon. Nice pontoon. Under it live beautiful fish. They put a 5-meter tower on the beach. There is always a watcher there, if they swim behind the buoys or feed the fish, he whistles and shouts into a megaphone. Beach towels are provided only near the pool. We have to carry them to the sea.
The hotel restaurant has blue fly lamps. It is completely incomprehensible why these can not be hung on the pool bar and beach bar? For example, in Tunisia, in the Grand Monastir hotel, these lamps are hung everywhere. There are no flies either by the sea or by the pool. In Sol Sharm, flies are not allowed to sunbathe calmly. But there were no mosquitoes in the room, although everyone wrote about them. It was necessary to bring with you from home not mosquito repellents, but Dichlorvos from flies!

We concluded that we would not go to Sol Sharm again. Although I heard that Sasha and her mother are from Chelyabinsk, Andrey from Omsk, two Ukrainian women were satisfied with the hotel. So decide for yourself. I don't want to make the wrong choice.
