We arrived in a company of 2 families (four adults) at Sharm Dreams Resort on 03/08/2018 in the evening around 21.00. While we were having dinner, everything was arranged at the reception, they gave cards to the rooms (later we had to change the key cards 2 times because they were demagnetized), things were taken to the golf cart and we were taken to the rooms. Everything went very quickly and without stress.
The room is certainly not new, but everything worked (the non-working iron was replaced immediately). Lots of TV channels, including Russian-speaking ones. No cleaning. Although they put a dollar and a chocolate bar, except for the flowers on the bed, nothing changed for the better. The concept of wet cleaning among the staff is completely absent. Toiletries, towels, water changed regularly.
The food is of high quality (during the rest, no one had an upset stomach), but it does not shine with variety. Chicken, beef, many different vegetables, fish (although on the 4th day of rest the fish disappeared and did not appear again. We rested for 7 nights. ) No alcohol (as in almost all hotels in Egypt). Drinks were poured into 100-gram plastic disposable cups. In terms of sanitation - this is good, but in terms of volume - a huge minus (100 grams of beer is somehow not drunk! Although the beer is not bad). There were always a lot of sweets, in the morning there was fresh fresh. In general, you definitely won’t stay hungry, some dishes are just amazingly delicious.

Beach: walk 5-6 minutes across the road, not annoying at all. Towels, sunbeds free of charge. The sea is excellent, the beach itself too: sand, the entrance to the sea is gentle, there are no stones, there is plenty of space on the beach, no one sits on each other's heads. The reef, although alive, is weak, maybe because of the shallow depth, but there are enough different fish (except for large ones). The only drawback of this beach is the lack of a free bar.
Animation is very weak, maybe out of season rest.
The hotel staff is friendly, all problems were solved quickly and with a smile. You should not immediately swear and yell with a good obscenity (I watched such a picture at the reception), everything is decided peacefully and no one is offended by each other. Loved the service of the bartender Mohammed at the pool bar.
Excursions from the hotel guide were not taken - the prices are too high by 1.5-2 times. But I want to warn you: there is an excursion company SUN'N FUN on the beach. Her representative Samo Sawey (introduced by Sasha) advertises excursions very competently. We took a six-in-one trip for four, jeep, camels, blue hole snorkeling, canyon, Dahab city. They were announced the prices and the tour program. But how surprised we were when the cost of renting masks and fins rose from $1 to $3 (it's not about money, but in principle), when the promised seafood lunch turned into a plate of rice with a piece of chicken and a piece of fish with two types of sauces, when a tour of the ancient city of Dahab turned into a short trip to a bait store (this is instead of the promised oriental bazaar). The tour was conducted by Ahmet, an employee of the same company. People do not mess with the company SUN'N FUN - full scam.
In general, despite the shortcomings listed, we were satisfied with the rest. Everywhere you need to look for the positive, not the negative. After all, we make our own vacation!
