Very mediocre hotel.
I can’t name anything particularly bad, but there was nothing particularly good either. In short, there were no problems with accommodation, the room was normal, not new of course, but everything worked more or less, with cleaning everything was also normal. The staff is all fussing, they help on any issue, no one ignores, as for the service, there really is no discrimination with the Italians. The territory is normal, relatively clean, except for the restaurant near the pool and the beach. In these matters, the Belvedere should learn from other hotels. It is worth noting the good work of the bartenders on the beach and in the lobby, the guys are always attentive, polite and, as usual in Egypt, treat children very well, joke, make beautiful cocktails. The restaurant, of course, did not please, it does not pull such a load on tourists: there are a lot of people, often the tables are all occupied, since the waiters are great, they fly, clean, they will instantly find a table, bring appliances, but still not enough pleasant.
In other hotels, I have not seen such mass psychosis in the dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I won’t list the food, there was already a lot of information before me, I can only mention the Italian pasta chef, always cheerful, friendly, positive, well, his pasta is also edible. The rest of the food leaves a lot to be desired, dry chicken, chewy beef, and surprisingly even bland desserts. But I won’t lie, there were no poisonings, everything, although mediocre, is edible, you won’t die of hunger. And, perhaps, the main drawback of this hotel, which many wrote about, is the sea. I have never seen such a poor sea on the Red Sea, but I have been to Sharm so many times. There are no corals, respectively, there are practically no fish either, terribly shallow, and even the bottom in some places in unpleasant algae. A mask with a snorkel, as they wrote before me, is not needed in this hotel. And just to swim, you have to walk for a long time to the buoys, at least not so shallow there. Maybe,

such an entry into the sea is suitable for unsure swimmers or very young children, the rest will be very uncomfortable. As such, the Belvedere does not have a pontoon, people go to the Crystal Sirena pontoon, but after a tourist drowned from it, the hotel workers immediately began to fuss and finish building their pontoon. In general, such a sea is an important and significant disadvantage of this hotel. And the second drawback is the animation, I have never seen a more dull animation anywhere. For 10 days, the children's animator did not approach us even once, although my child loves to spend time in mini-clubs. Adult animation is so “unobtrusive” that we sometimes saw them only in the dining room, and besides, they sometimes even forgot to say hello. Of the entire international team, I can single out only Timati (Mansi), the only polite and well-mannered guy. Russian tourists felt especially deprived compared to Italians,
the Settemari team entertained them from morning to evening, both children and adults. All the guys from Italian animation are funny, really lighters, and you can see them everywhere all day long, they dance club dances on the beach and participate in active games on the beach, in general, if in short, then the difference is significant. I went to water aerobics and dancing with an Italian girl animator, so if you want not to be bored, either learn Italian or entertain yourself. As for the rest, everything was fine, we were provided with dry rations for an early departure. The work of the reception, gestreleyshn and hotel staff is really on the level. And yes, the service is the only thing, perhaps, for which the hotel can claim 5 stars. As a result, I can recommend the hotel to a very unpretentious tourist, not spoiled in food, not swimming in the sea, and, of course, an Italian.
P. S. The heat in August in Sharm is such that rest sometimes turns into torture,
think a thousand times before flying there in such a hot season. Charm is beautiful in winter, after exhausting yourself, and if you don’t rest there in August, you may not get any pleasure from the rest, the exhausting heat around the clock is simply unbearable.
