We rested for 7 days at the Jaz Belvedere hotel in early July 2019 with a 4-year-old child. The hotel was not only satisfied, but simply delighted with it! Thanks again to all the staff for a wonderful holiday! Then everything is lined up.
ABOUT THE HOTEL: The hotel is aimed at the European tourist. Most of the tourists are Italians. The rest are Germans, Ukrainians and quite a few Arabs and Russians. For us personally, this was a very significant advantage.
LOCATION: The hotel is located in a new area of the city - Nabq Bay. Therefore, there is nowhere to walk around the hotel, there are unfinished hotels and desert all around. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Naama Street by taxi ($16 round trip, a taxi can be called from the reception), to Soho Square - 10 minutes.
CLIMATE AND SEA: Nabq area, where the hotel is located, is the windiest in Sharm, so the wind here blows constantly and quite strongly. Sometimes a red flag hangs until 10 am, prohibiting swimming in the sea from a pontoon. There are low tides / high tides, the sea goes 10-15 meters. The hotel has its own pontoon for swimming, but there is also a very convenient entry into the sea from the shore. You can go even without aquashoes, there is sand with rare stones. However, there is no reef on site. Swimming only a flock of gray fish and a few colored ones. But crowds of crabs walk.
BEACH: The hotel has its own sandy beach equipped with free sunbeds and umbrellas. More than enough sunbeds! The beach is very clean. Sand is sifted every morning, umbrellas and sunbeds are washed every day! Rubbing the handrails on the pontoon!
HOTEL TERRITORY: Huge! There are many buildings, the main restaurant, a beach bar, a pool bar and a bar at the reception, a pharmacy, a sports complex, a volleyball field, a tennis court, a shop where you can buy all sorts of tourist goodies (towels, everything for swimming, perfumes, bags, etc. ). P. ). In the store, prices are no more expensive than on Naama Bay. There are three pools, conditionally: adult, children (depth from 55 cm to 121) and infant (I'm not above the knee). The whole territory of the hotel is green!! ! lawn and lots of plants. The garden has a beautiful pond, with water flowing in cascades and bridges. The cleanliness of the territory is absolute!
SERVICE: top notch! Let's start with the fact that we arrived at the hotel almost at one in the morning and therefore did not count on food at all, but we were WAITING for dinner in the main restaurant! Settled immediately, suitcases and we were delivered by machine directly to the room! ANY issue is resolved within an hour from the moment of its announcement. The air conditioning and fridge in our room did not work well. The air conditioner was fixed in 15 minutes. The refrigerator was taken out and a new one brought in! Cleaning is done every day! The rooms are very clean!! ! Every day they change bedding, towels, renew water, tea set and cosmetics. The most polite and helpful staff throughout the hotel!! ! I don’t know how they remember, but they address customers by name, constantly asking how things are and if everything is fine. Constantly: "good morning", "thank you", "please", "bon appetit", etc. When entering the restaurant, they even open the doors!
FOOD: As for the main restaurant, everything is very tasty and varied. Every day fish, chicken, beef, vegetables, soups and all in a different performance. For a week, the main dishes were almost not repeated! Every lunch and dinner there are grilled dishes. Delicious desserts with chic restaurant serving and many different bakery products! There are always fruits: melon, banana, peaches, grapes, apples, dates. There are always several types of pasta with different sauces and additives. Chefs are constantly in the hall, communicate with customers. European-style food: moussaka, pasta, all kinds of gratins, beef stroganoff, mashed soups, minestrone, bisque, dauphinoise potatoes, sauté and more. For 7 days, once there was sushi and once there were grilled crabs. However, seafood dishes (fish does not count) are available almost every day. From drinks: teas, coffee, juices (not natural), wine, beer. Dishes, tablecloths and the restaurant itself are crystal clean!
In the beach bar: water with oranges and apples, juices, Pepsi, seven up and mirinda, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails.
