Because I myself often read reviews before traveling and make up my first opinion about the destination, I decided to write my own essay.
My husband and I visited one of the hotels of the Solymar chain called Jaz Mirabel Beach Resort 5 * in Sharm El Sheikh. We drove from Mostrevel, the company Travko accepted us (they say the best in Egypt).
The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the airport (when we flew back to Moscow, we could even see the familiar buildings and the beach from the window). Despite the fact that many wrote about the noise of the turbines of airbuses and ILs, they did not remember anything like that. More precisely, of course, the planes flew over the hotel, but they did not create a particularly strong noise. Yes, and we did not focus on this.
The territory is very pleasant, we were separated from the road by the Mirabell Club hotel, many fountains, lighting, artificial ponds, palm trees and flowers.

The weather was hot, though, as usual in early spring, a little windy. I immediately liked the hotel with its luxurious hall, cozy room and friendly staff. I must say that now they already speak Russian there, and there are quite a lot of ours (about a third of the total number of visitors). Most of the English and Italians in the hotel, then ours, the Germans and the French. But knowledge of English is only a plus.
ROOM.
As I understand it, the Russians were put in one building (numbers started with the number 3, standard rooms), but don't think it's the worst. It's just the farthest from the sea. We even considered this a plus, because. in the morning we were not woken up by heart-rending cries from bars and pools. At the same time, the building was not near the road, so the windows of any room overlooked the courtyard of the hotel or the neighboring hotel Kalimera. The room is neat, clean, everything is new, there is a safe, the bathroom is combined. The only thing is that there is no door or curtain in the shower cabin, and ordinary tiles under your feet. Cleaned up every day. Hearing is small. There is a veranda.
NUTRITION.
At the hotel you can eat from 7 am to 18 pm, and from 18-30 to 23-00. Drinks from 7-00 to 24-00. The hotel has 2 restaurants, 2 cafes and 6 bars (2 lobby, 2 by the pool and 2 on the beach). There are three a la carte restaurants (Asian, Arabic and Italian), but for the money.
The food is very varied, the menu changes all the time. Drinks are also for every taste, although it is impossible to drink orange juice, it is very chemical =). There are very tasty cocktails, ice cream and confectionery.
Almost all establishments have waiters, there is no self-service. Sometimes, of course, due to the abundance of guests, you have to wait for them, but no more than 5 minutes.
LEISURE.
Animation spoke with us in all languages, there was even a Russian Gregory. They are great, all the time they arranged something: sometimes dances, sometimes competitions, sometimes shows in the hotel theater. There are a lot of guys in animation, so it was not boring, despite the fact that we were alone.
There are 4 large and 2 children's pools on site, of which 2 adults (at the large bar and for polo) and children are heated.

There is also a free sauna, slides (on the territory of the Mirabel Park hotel behind the sauna), a gym, a kids club, a disco, a diving center, a shopping center, a theater with a daily show, Russian girls sang in the lobby every evening.
We did not go to Naama Bay, because We have been there many times already, so we did not focus on the proximity of the hotel to it.
Now for the MINUSES.
1. This is a very shallow sea on the hotel's beach. But since the water in the sea was cold, we didn’t even stay on the wild beach, where the depth is sufficient, and there are even small waves. The wild beach is 10 minutes walk from the hotel (follow the footpath past Kalimera). On the wild beach you can lie on towels, but the mixture of sand and pebbles is quite hard =) The neighboring Kalimera hotel has a pontoon (about 300 m long), you can use it, but even after walking on it, the water is still shallow. We knew about it, so it didn't upset us at all. Swim only in warm pools.
2. We were first received at the hotel by a receptionist named Farid. To be honest, I'm not a very pleasant person. It consisted in the fact that he collected our passports and questionnaires without saying a word, and after 10 minutes he also silently gave the key to the room, not even showing which way to go. As it turned out later, he had to give us cards for towels and return passports (which we found out on our own the next day from another guide).
3. A la carte restaurants are paid only for Russians, for foreigners it is possible to visit them for free. As the representatives of the hotel explained to us, such a contract is with a Russian company.
But if we discard everything, then there were very pleasant impressions, we have visited Egypt 8 times already. Honestly, the hotel is actually a local five, it shines with novelty, which is very nice. So I advise everyone. Still, we usually go for a week or two.
