Нормальный отель, но семья приехала с расстройством пищеварения OK hotel but family arrived with digestive upset

A couple of days ago we arrived from a holiday at Maritim Jolie Ville Golf & Resort Hotel 5, I want to leave a review based on fresh impressions, because I read reviews myself when choosing a hotel. We stayed in the middle of August 2018. husband, wife, daughter 11 years old. We flew from join up to their sky up. The plane is new and neat. We flew from Kharkov, took off 40 minutes later, I think, almost on time.
We arrived for dinner, at the reception one of the managers immediately began to hint at a surcharge for a large good room, I did not respond, because I paid in advance for a room overlooking the pool and in the description it was 50m2, I think it's more than enough.
The room had only 2 beds for three, however, they were large, but not a double bed, but separate ones. I immediately asked to bring an extra bed for a child, the guy in front of me called the reception, asked for towels, because there were only 4 of them. They left for dinner, examined the territory, returned - they did not bring anything.

Moved the beds - slept like that.
The next morning there was a meeting with the hotel guide - they went together to say about the bed, they didn’t set it for dinner. After dinner we went again and, miraculously, they brought us a bed and 2 more towels: under our feet and a third bath towel.
I want to say about the hotel guide Akram. I read the reviews, maybe not for this hotel, but many wrote that the guides only sell excursions, they are not interested in anything else and behave boorishly if you don’t take anything. Akram was polite, did not impose anything, intelligibly told about what was asked, in general, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t take anything right away, but I wanted to dive, I found out the prices from the join and at the hotel (there is a counter there - almost the same prices, at the join on some excursions a little lower, diving is the same 25 ye). I liked diving, at least for the experience you need to take it, even my 11-year-old daughter dived 2 times. I was surprised by the responsibility of the staff on the excursion when diving - well done!
The joins also offer free city and soho rides (we didn't).
Now more about the hotel. We drove from the airport for 20 minutes, but the planes are not as annoying as in the concorde (where the location was right in front of the runway). The territory is beautiful, clean, the pools are good, I especially liked it with hydromassages, it was 20 meters deeper than the main pool. morning workout was under the sun, water aerobics in the waist-deep pool. The animation team is sooo small (3 or 4 people). We tried, but it's about nothing. We got to the evening show 1 time: there were dances with skirts and a belly dance from the invited 2 people (sad compared to shows in other hotels where I had to visit). Sitting there is not comfortable on metal chairs, albeit with a pillow.

Cleaning in the room is also sad, when I moved the beds there and some papers and hair from under the bed showed up. In the bathroom, nothing was washed except the toilet bowl, there were still hairs on the floor from the previous tenants in the corners.
The bar upon arrival is 1b. pepsi 1l and 1.1. 5l of water. On other days, only water, tea, coffee were replenished daily.
Soap/shampoo 1 gel 1 shampoo 1 soap for all. Although there were not many towels in the room, they were snow-white, without pretensions. Beach towels are something, it seems to me that they were not washed, but simply steamed and folded with stains inside - zhah!
The beach, as for the first line, seemed to me far away, it was necessary to cross the road and the construction site on the bridge. The beach for me was very unusual, as in the description, it cascaded down to the sea, ladders back and forth, several sun loungers, very original in a designer way and I liked it. But with small children it will not be convenient to go down these ladders. The sea is beautiful, warm, there are enough fish, the reef is normal, very good.
Service is crap. I compare it with the concorde 5 years ago, well, everything was more decent, maybe the level of the hotel is different, or something has changed during this time, not for the better. The hotel is half empty, some cafes are closed, the area is not very large from the reception to the sea. Across the road is also the same hotel, but we didn’t go there when we went on excursions, it was even more empty there.
We traveled on a hotel bus for $ 4 round trip with a person in Nama Bay, nothing has changed there: it's hot, stuffy, everyone sticks, inviting to buy.
A separate item to the contingent and food. More than 50% are Arabs. Women in gijabs, veils, diving suits with numerous children. Approximately 30% Slavs Ukraine / Russia, the rest - Europe. A lot of Arabic specific food, very little edible, something edible is given out in portions, shamefully in small portions, but you can ask for more - they do not refuse. It was impossible to eat beef and liver, potatoes are always damp, in general, cooks are on the soap. For the first time, we all arrived with indigestion, without poisoning, but somehow...

There are sooo few fruits, even a watermelon was only a few times, apples, melons, dates and 2 times bananas. Watermelon, surprisingly, was not at all sweet, they also cut everything so thinly, I saw the light from such savings. Arab mothers and their children climb everywhere without a queue and they are served before the Slavs - be prepared for this. I did not understand whether they are honored and glorified everywhere as having many children, or whether this is a manifestation of disrespect for us. But once the daughter went for ice cream and left without it and in tears, because they didn’t want to notice her, they served everyone around, but not her (by coincidence there were only Arabs around).
Regarding the departure, the flight was at 4 am, picked up at 00.30, flew out at 5 am. We stood at passport control / two inspections for 3 hours without exaggeration. The queue was filmed, especially by the Europeans. People have a flight in 20 minutes (this is not with us), but they are all in line. It was the apotheosis.
Summary: you can go to the hotel, but there are some drawbacks.
Personally, the trip to this country was enough for me for the next 5 years.
