I didn’t have to be bored at the hotel... Everything, as usual for Egypt. We arrived together. Naturally, a standard room was booked. I, knowing the manners of the Arabs, to hand out "good numbers" remained behind the reception, and my husband went to see what they gave us for the room. I have been waiting for it for a long time. . .
Comes back and says it's a normal number. I go out, we go on a golf cart. We eat for a long time. We leave the territory of the hotel and stop near the villa. On the first floor, our room (small bedroom), but at the same time its own hall, its own pool and “its own” sea view (I saw this already in the morning). At first, to be honest, I was upset that it was far enough to go to the main building, but, as it turned out later, the beach was within easy reach. I scold my husband, what is it, we are generally on the outskirts, outside the territory, horror, horror... We go with him to the reception and say that we don’t like it. They are shocked: you have a separate villa, sea view, your own pool, and you demand a standard one. I say that this is not a hotel at all, it is wilderness, darkness, and it’s just scary there... Naturally, we are offered to pay $ 30 per day and we will be accommodated closer to the main building. And their standard rooms all face the courtyard and they are all occupied. We are going to look at other rooms - we did not understand what to pay extra for and wandered to our villa. An Arab immediately ran after us and turned on the lights everywhere, offered to turn on the Jacuzzi in the pool, tuned the TV to all channels, bowed and left. In the morning, I realized that I was nervous for nothing. Everything was amazing. A quiet villa, next to the villa of the President of Egypt (we realized this later), a beautiful two-level terrace with a green lawn and a magnificent view of the sea.
Fed varied, but without frills. There was a children's table. Everyone always had enough food, plates, cups, spoons, forks. Of course, by the end of the week all this is pretty tired. In Sofitel, the food was much better and tastier. I liked that all the services in the hotel are worthy. No follow-up remarks, no “hello, how are you? ”. Everything is fine. Animation is practically non-existent. Egyptian room cleaning (medium). Plumbing in the room, and furniture for C grade. True, everything worked.

The hotel area is large and beautiful. Lots of pools and restaurants. A magnificent multi-level sandy beach is very impressive. Entrance, both from the pontoons and from the sand.
Of the bad - stupid green torn carpet throughout the hotel. What for?
It also spoils the reputation of the hotel, some incomprehensible "soviet" conferences. These were some strange personalities (from the category of “Lyuska, and Lyuska? ”), Who came for 2-3 days to a conference consisting of 100 people. They rushed to the evening meal as if it were the last day of Pompey. They squealed on the beach, yelled (it's impossible to convey everything). In general, they behaved in such a way that we were terribly ashamed of our compatriots. One of the brightest examples was the drunken song of all this “choir” in the hotel lobby - “Oh, frost, frost... ” Nightmare !!!!!!!! ! Well, it is, the cry of the soul.
On the last evening before departure, the hotel administrator calls us in the room and asks to move to the main building of the hotel in connection with the beginning of the renovation. But how? Are we leaving tomorrow? What is a one night stay? We are begging. I'm in no hurry to collect all the things. We leave the villa with suitcases, where a car should be waiting for us, and here: representative Mercedes, a tinted bus full of people with machine guns, and machine gunners on our green lawn. And we are so beautiful in bathing suits….
We had to wait a long time for our typewriter, because it turned out that there was no repair, and the President of Egypt came to a neighboring villa. Still, we were moved - to a chic two-room suite (albeit for one night), also with a sea view.
This was such a hectic vacation.
I will most likely not go to this hotel again, I prefer not to repeat myself. Yes, and conferences are embarrassing. I do not want to receive unpleasant impressions on vacation.
