About Egypt itself. I went to Egypt for the first time, before that I had experience of trips to Turkey and Israel. Compared to these countries, Egypt is so far from civilization. The Arabs themselves are wild, curious, very sociable, obsessive and shameless. If you start a holiday romance, Arabs with phones set up for photo / video shooting will follow you.
I went to Cairo, the pyramids and the city itself were very cool, despite the fact that it is dirty. My tour operator organized the trip to Cairo very well. In the morning, when the bus arrived in the city, we rode (15 min) along the Nile. Then we went to museums (photo and video shooting is prohibited, the guide must warn about this and leave the cameras on the bus). Then we had lunch. Then we went to a perfume shop (I think this is superfluous), where they told us about oils for an hour and at the end they told us their cost in different bottles. Then we went to the pyramids. There are only three pyramids; they are located on the outskirts of the city next to a poor area. The pyramids were mostly surrounded by local teenagers and poor people selling you all sorts of rubbish at low prices (you need to beware of them, because they just have to lure you, then it will be hard to get rid of them). Also around the pyramids there are a lot of carts with horses, on horseback and on camels, so walking in the desert is problematic, because. everywhere the feces of these animals. We traveled around these pyramids, walked a little on our own, then went to the Sphinx statue, which is located not far from the pyramids. I didn't find anything interesting there. I also went to the water park in Sharm, I didn’t really like it. There are few slides, everywhere you need to stand in line behind a circle or a mat (you can’t ride in a swimsuit). Then you go down the hill, they immediately take the circle away from you and you have to stand in line again, sometimes it’s not a queue, but just someone who is bolder and faster will take the circle. At the same time, there are several types of slides on this heel and you want to ride all of them, that is, it will take at least an hour to ride on each heel of the slides. In total, there are 5 such heels with slides, if memory serves, (children's slides do not count). It’s better not to ride without a circle and a rug, because. it is dangerous, p. ch. the slides are not very smooth and you can catch on something. After lunch, half of the slides are closed (I didn’t notice how much). But when you have a time limit, it is very annoying.
About the hotel. Pros: beautiful, large rooms + balcony (some balconies go straight to the pool). Separate spa, gym is good and the warm pool is wonderful, especially good to spend time in before dinner. The animation is excellent, although mostly Italians, but almost everyone can explain themselves in Russian and English. There is a Russian girl in the animation, she looks very similar to the Italians. Their programs are good, suitable for everyone and no one will be bored. I especially liked their performance in the evenings in the amphitheater. The hotel has a disco, but it is kind of rotten, there are few people on it. There is a disco next to the sea, so the hotel is very far to go. We were once, danced a little and went back, so on the way arrogant Arabs stuck to us, barely broke away from them. After that, it was stressful to go to this disco. But we went to a paid disco 2 times. The first time they didn’t eat very much, because. we are girls and we were not allowed to dance calmly by the Arabs who were everywhere. They pestered very brazenly, immediately climb almost to kiss. In principle, Russian girls allow this, which is why they behave this way with us. Next to the dancing girls in five minutes. already kissing Arabs. The second time we went perfectly and all thanks to the fact that a friendly and cheerful company of Russians gathered from different hotels. For 12 days the menu was monotonous. For dinner they put out what they did not eat at lunch. Sometimes there were very tasty dinners and lunches, but it was 3 times. A big plus that they gave bottled water, but in order to get it, sometimes it was necessary to remind the waiters three times to bring it. Sometimes, especially for dinner, you had to stand in line. Wine also needs to be asked from the waiters, who you can’t catch. In the last few days, a very good waiter Mohamed looked after us in the restaurant and we did not need anything. More waiters like this!
