The hotel was advised by the travel agency, so there was not much time to monitor reviews and so on. When we arrived, we were very worried about which room we would get . . Since I read reviews of other hotels and often they first settle in a bad room, and then offer to change to better conditions for an extra charge. But! To our surprise, everything turned out exactly as we wanted - 2nd floor, double bed. Of course the rooms are in need of refurbishment. Especially the bathroom. But a very comfortable bed, clean linens, appliances work, a beautiful view from the balcony, there is hot water. Thanks to very thick curtains, you can sleep for half a day - the sunlight does not hurt at all. The balcony is spacious, there are 2 chairs and a table. The bathroom has towels, liquid soap, toilet paper, hair dryer, extractor hood. The room has a refrigerator, air conditioning, TV (old, the image is not very good), wardrobe, safe.
The territory is beautiful, green, though not big. There are 3 adult pools (depth 130 and 160 cm) and 1 children's pool (60 cm). One of the heated pools. There is an amphitheater, a hookah lounge, a spa, a gym, a cinema, a football field.
The hotel itself is made in the Egyptian style, very original and this makes it different from all other hotels. There is a special atmosphere. By the way, the hotel has not been working for about 2 years. Now everything is resuming and we are sure that it will only get better!
The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor (above the lobby), breakfasts and lunches are served there. Dinner is served at tables around the pool. The buffet is quite varied! There are also salads, fresh vegetables, soups, side dishes (potatoes, rice, pasta), steamed / grilled vegetables, meat - chicken, veal, falafel, steaks, kebab. Several times there was pizza, shawarma. Always baked fish. Very tasty pastries - croissants, puffs, donuts, bread, buns. From fruits - oranges, lemons, melon, bananas (rarely), persimmons. Fruit, of course, I would like more. From drinks - tea, coffee, juices from the machine, water.
The staff is the biggest plus of the hotel! Everyone is friendly, smiling and willing to help with any issue. All of them are like one family and you feel like your own too! The guys have a great sense of humor! It's enough just to meet someone's gaze and it's already fun. Although almost all the staff speaks English - this is not a problem, even if you are a little stupid in knowing the language. You can always understand each other, the main desire.
Animation . . To be honest, we didn’t need it! We wanted a calm and quiet hotel - we got it. During the day, music plays near the pool, the Crespo animator invites you to play volleyball or just comes up and asks how you are doing, you can just talk and have fun with him. If you are interested, you can all dance together. After dinner, a small show program - fire show, belly dance, various games such as guess the song and so on. We only stayed 3 nights for the show and we weren't bored!
The location of the hotel is convenient! Nearby are 2 supermarkets with adequate prices, George Clooney store, KFC. The beach, which carries the bus, from the hotel I do not advise. The sea is shallow and not a comfortable bottom. It is better to walk 10-15 minutes to the free Pataya beach. There the depth is better and the beach is sandy. Although we liked swimming in the pool more. Indeed, in the sea we met only Slavs. Germans, Italians - maximum sunbathe on the beach, in the sea - not a foot!
I also want to say that the attitude towards you depends primarily on yourself! NO need to try to get drunk on all your paid money, NO need to contact the staff - hey you, come here, quickly make me coffee, give me juice, cappuccino! You do NOT need to assert yourself by dominating people who work almost around the clock for you! There were situations when we felt ashamed of our tourists. And then you ask where the prejudice against Ukrainians and Russians comes from. Do not behave like cattle and everything will be ok! Thank you!
