We went with a group of 8 people (6 adults, 2 children), 4 of us work in the tourist industry, so I'll try to be objective. In Egypt, I personally had to be 3 years ago on a promotional tour, and a year ago I was vacationing in El Gouna at Movenpick (incomparable, I recommend !!!! ), so there is something to compare
The hotel was not particularly chosen: it turned out to be a "situational coalition", the decision to fly was made a day before departure.
The host side "Moon Stone" (may be mistaken), one of the newcomers to the market, did everything related to transfers impeccably. In order of the main:
FOOD: plentiful breakfasts, fried omelettes, fried eggs, pastries, vegetables. From cold drinks - only an analogue of "yupi"
Lunch (outdoors) for a week is exactly the same every day: chicken pieces, pizza, hamburgers, vegetables, fruits: pomegranates, guava, oranges
Dinner - a richer assortment: fish, stewed beef, fried potatoes, many desserts.

You can, by appointment (there is enough space for everyone! ) have lunch at a fish restaurant (fresh tuna is fried), dinner at a Japanese and Chinese restaurant (very good). There was not enough food: in the main restaurant, add, but it will be overkill.
DRINKS: anywhere and as much as you want. Ultra all inclusive: Egyptian whiskey, tequila, rum, gin, all kinds of cocktails including pina colada, tequila sunrise and so on. You don't have to stand in line, and read on one of the sites, the apt expression: HOTEL FOR ALCOHOLICS - to the point. Bar on the beach, by the pool, by the main restaurant. Minus: from juices, again, only "yupi".
TERRITORY: the hotel is cozy, well-groomed, all rooms overlook a large heated pool or side cool pools. The rooms are new with good plumbing, two Russian-language channels. The staff is unobtrusive, executive, the majority speaks Russian (by the way, 95% of tourists are Russians and Ukrainians, dotted inclusions of Poles and Italians). There is a heated children's pool. There are two children's (although the children were afraid to ride them, as in a good water park) slides, which unfortunately work for an hour a day. Many tourists spend the whole day by the pool (below you will understand why).
Animation is good for a small area. There is billiards, table tennis, on the territory of the adjacent hotel "Three Corners" tennis.
In the evening, a disco, very lively, again with a bottling, which is a big plus for young people.

BEACH: the main (or maybe the only) drawback of the hotel. The first day was very sad. It is theoretically possible to walk on foot, but I do not advise you to try, half an hour in the scorching sun is a small pleasure. Mikrik runs every half an hour until 17:00. There is a bar on the beach, apparently to brighten up the mood. There is no pontoon to go into the sea, you need to walk slowly among the stones knee-deep in water for about 8 minutes with the risk of twisting your leg, and then rush into the waves, since the sea is usually rough. To swim on a free beach, you need to be able to do it VERY GOOD. For children and the elderly, or unsportsmanlike youth - UNREAL!!!! ! You will be allowed to leave the pontoon of the neighboring hotel, you will not be handcuffed, but somehow you need to get into the sea. They returned discouraged, but after reading the announcement about the opportunity to get to the paid beach, they returned hope. She got it right! every day at 09:30 a mikrik takes you to the Shark Bay city beach, and back at 15:30 or 16:30 (it takes about 15 minutes). From an adult -8 dollars, from a child -5. It's good there: both pontoons and sand and mind-blowing fish (better than on the extreme free), and restaurants, and high-quality frescoes (20 pounds). Umbrellas, mattresses and plentiful dry rations are included in the price. A taxi is a little cheaper (about $ 6), but if there are at least four of you, otherwise you should not contact.
SUMMARY: for those who like to drink a lot and often, dance, relax by the pool, eat a lot and often - ideal! The management goes out of their way to make the residents feel comfortable. A huge minus, as such, is the lack of a sea, but if you don’t get upset by spending an additional $ 50 for a week per person, spending time on the beautiful Shark Bay paid beach, then the rest will be remembered, and from the best side!
Sincerely, a guide to the Scandinavian countries, and in this case a tourist Ilya Mezhul
