Hotel ratings by criteria:
Traveled with family - three adults and one child 9 years old. The hotel was searched on the Internet and based on photos of tourists and reviews ...all negative reviews are not true ! ! The hotel is excellent - cozy, with all the necessary infrastructure (except for an Internet cafe - it, unfortunately, was not there - they promised to open later) - three swimming pools (one heated). The main restaurant, which has a crazy variety of dishes - the food is excellent, different every day, a fish restaurant (the fish is delicious, though it will be tastier at sea : )), a Japanese restaurant (which we never got into because of the variety of excursions we visited ), a 24-hour bar with all kinds of drinks (including alcoholic ones), lunch by the pool - there are not many dishes (and eating a lot is harmful during swimming : )), but very tasty. Two Russian-speaking girls work at the reception.
The beach is not very impressive (the sand seems dirty and the territory is not large, half with another hotel, but there is enough space for everyone, there is also a bar with drinks and sandwiches on the beach), Odessa beaches will be more decent, but we didn’t come to the sea; ), but FISH IN THE SEA is a MIRACLE, you will not see such in the Black Sea! When you walk and they just float at your feet! ! It's worth it! Panton was being built during our stay, probably in April it will be ready, and maybe even earlier.

I did not like the animation at all, according to the reviews, it seems that they were fired just after us - because we left reviews about the hotel. The disco is good - the DJ is cheerful and sociable, the drinks are delicious. The staff is very friendly and unobtrusively attentive. Many people understand and speak Russian, but if you speak English, you won't have problems with communication at all.
Shuttle bus takes every hour to the beach from 9:00-15:00, from the beach the last flight is at 16:30 (carries even one person). The same bus takes you every evening to Naama Bay (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun) and Old Market (Tue, Wed, Sat) at 20:30, back to the hotel at 23:30 - all these trips are absolutely free.

For tourists, prices in Naama Bay are much more expensive than in Old Gorda. It’s worth walking around Naama, but buying souvenirs, hookahs and other utensils is in the Old City - more choice, lower prices. Be sure to bargain with everyone! By the way, the drinks in the bars are VERY expensive, it is better to drink in the hotel.

As for excursions: each tour operator offers its own excursions. I can only say about Pegas - everything is very clearly planned, in the minimum time we received the maximum amount of information and impressions - all the guides are Russian-speaking, but if you want to save money - contact the local tour agencies (your insurance from the tour operator does not work).
In 7 days we visited Cairo (Pyramids, Cairo Museum, lunch on the Nile), on Mount Moses (including the monastery of St. Catherine), in the Ras Mohammed reserve and swam on a bathyscaphe (a semi-submarine from which you can see the bottom and coral reefs with fish).

If you go to Egypt to drink (in the sense of DRINK) - in Amar El Zaman you will succeed, who wants a luxurious holiday on the first coastline and with pontoon beaches - choose another hotel, but if you go to Egypt to get the MAXIMUM pleasure - this hotel is for you - do not forget to visit more excursions, and believe me, you still won’t have time to see everything !! ! : )

Who wants to visit Luxor - it's better to rest in Hurghada, if someone wants to visit Jerusalem - Sharm El Sheikh for you (as far as prices are concerned).
