I ended up in this hotel by accident, due to the fault of the tour operator, who canceled the plane on the day of my departure to my homeland, thereby extending my vacation for another two days. I rested in Taba, at the Movenpick Hotel. And of course, after the classic five, it is very difficult for me to evaluate the hotel. But I will try.
First, about the pros - the territory is quite large, I really liked the large number of decorative pools - on a hot summer day they give coolness. Yes, and they look nice. All this complements neat bridges, paths and greenery. And more parrots? Beautiful green important parrots. The room itself is spacious, all balconies and windows overlook the pools - there are a great many of them. Of course, they will not replace the sea, but the hotel - 4, in some places 3 in my understanding, is on the second line. But the central pool is very warm and was filled with both children and adults, swimming there is a pleasure. Above it there are two slides, although I have not seen them in working condition. Free Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby. The signal is weak, but checking your mail and chatting on Skype in average quality is enough. They take you to the sea by minibus about every hour. They take you to a very beautiful Sharks Bay. In addition to pantones, it also has a barefoot entry, without slippers. In the bay, however, there is very little space, all the sunbeds are occupied, there are a lot of people. And a lot of divers. They go into the water in large groups and make a dive probably every 10 minutes, as it seemed to me... Palmyra guests have their own piece of the beach, which includes sunbeds, a changing room and a bar with some drinks.
Now, alas, about the cons. The hotel seemed very old to me. All handles, doors and doors are shabby, for some reason I had neither soap nor shower gel. Hair dryer - you have to ask. There is also no safe. An empty bar, I managed to turn on the TV - maybe it didn’t work. Thankfully I don't watch it. The hotel is located near the airport - on every takeoff and landing, the plane makes a lap of honor exactly above your head? The audience is 100% our brothers Slavs with rudeness and pushing. Does the staff respond in kind? And disgusting food. After making two circles with an empty plate in search of sane food, I settled on potato soup and a slice of yesterday's pizza. The pizza turned out to be inedible... On the second day they brought an edible salad and a couple of buns for tea, but the meat patty was completely tasteless. In general, food is tight here. With entertainment, too, how lucky - during the day there is aqua aerobics, exercises and other games, but in the evening there is a very meager program for children and some kind of dance for adults, that's all.

In general, the hotel left a not very pleasant feeling, so I would not buy a special ticket there.
