The hotel was recommended to us by our local agency Temerinda in Berdyansk as an excellent 5 for big money and in the shortest possible time. We were not given a choice, and we did not have the opportunity to postpone the trip. After reading the reviews about this hotel in advance, we went, hoping that everything would not be so deplorable...
Firstly, we were not immediately settled, saying that the superiors (these are their regular rooms) are not free now, but it turns out that there are suites, for an additional charge of $ 15 per day, and they refused to show the regular room. We already wanted to check in as soon as possible, because we were tired from the road, we agreed to a surcharge. The room was spacious, with a large terrace overlooking the sea and the pool. The furniture is old, instead of a bathroom, a shower room, fenced with tiles. There was a smell of dichlorvos. We asked to explain why it stinks, they said that disinfection is normal. On the second day, the husband woke up with several bites. On the third night, the husband caught on the pillow 2 bugs the size of a match head, filled with blood. We asked for an explanation of what it was, at the reception they said they did not know. We asked to be moved at least for the night to another room. Moved . . not far . . Again, at night, having caught bedbugs, and already living and dead, they presented them to the receptionist, he was horrified, jumping out and the rooms, said that all our things were being taken away for processing and disinfection. And we are moved to another building, standing away from the main building. It was room 803. Lower than ours, for which we paid extra, they claimed that there were no bedbugs. We decided to wait for things from disinfection and on the same day decided to change the hotel, because, after 3 sleepless nights, to live we didn't want to go there. Through a tour guide (rather rude and greedy type), we changed the hotel to Melia Sharm, which turned out to be a clean, quiet, new, pleasant European-style hotel. As a result, in order to somehow rehabilitate, the hotel returned the surcharge for the improved room, treated me to wine and washed things for free. Many people also had bites, some saw insects and also moved. The remaining 7 days we had a good rest, remembering the grand charm piano as a nightmare.
