I chose the hotel by area: if anyone does not know, the Hadaba Bay area in Sharm is considered windless. However, Poinciana still has a windy side. But! In a 20-minute walk (or 5 minutes by hotel bus) there is a paid beach with no wind, where we went. Great snorkeling and sandy entry. About the hotel's beach, therefore, I will not say, I was not.
Upon check-in, the reception was horrified: a very small, low building is the face of the hotel, which obviously creates a negative impression. The same impression is created by the entrance to the restaurant. All in all, a sad sight.
However, the hotel itself is wonderful! This is a large spacious area with 2 pools-if you want-active-pool, if you want-relax-pool. There are usually few people on the territory, everything is free. Pools are not chlorinated, you can safely swim and dive. For the first time I lived on the first floor (which I don’t accept at all): the rooms on the 3rd are located so that the balcony is impassable - there is a lawn and flowers. And it's gorgeous! No one climbs past, no one looks in the windows. Basically, all the rooms in the hotel are similar. As for the rooms and furniture, the owners of the hotel would only have to send carpenters and painters to put everything in good shape.

The hotel has animators doing their job. Every evening some kind of program. Surprisingly, ALL age categories of tourists rest in the hotel, I must say, vacationers with children are very noisy, it is not possible to sleep because of hearing.
On nutrition: vegetable eaters, you are here! Those who are accustomed to pickles are unlikely to appreciate restaurant food. By the way, there is no free food anywhere else in the territory.
The location of the hotel is simply gorgeous: next to the huge hotel Alfa Leila Valeila, and around it are shopping arcades, near an Internet cafe, a large Metro supermarket.
Bottom line: the hotel needs a new reception and restaurant, renovation of furniture and bathrooms, and open, for some reason, a closed access to the sea (apparently, it used to be! ). My son and I were very pleased with the rest, however, as always in Egypt! Thanks to all the hotel staff and the operator Tez Tour!
