When going to Egypt for the first time, our friends advised us exactly Reef oasis beach 5 *, which were in Sharm about 10 times in 5-star hotels. They said that the hotel is the best in Sharm in terms of price and quality (+ -1000 $ For 7 days), since the first and most important thing is the beach and the coral reef in this hotel, a variety of food and a large green area. And yes, it really is, my friends! The beach is unreal, one might say, like in the Maldives), the cuisine is delicious, there have always been several types of meat and fish or seafood (but to be honest, I expected a little more choice, since there is something to compare ...and these powder diluted on the bar upset juices! ), and the territory is sooo well-groomed, clean and green, there is where to take a walk without leaving the hotel.

But the guys did not take into account one moment! Namely, the condition of the rooms and the hotel itself as a whole.

Yes, this is a very important point, because for some, comfort is generally the main thing on vacation, and the sea, it is the same in all of Egypt, except for entering the sea, it is rarely sandy in Egypt, and in this hotel there are two entries, one large sandy beach, then there is a regular entry).

So, we arrived at the hotel at 7 am in May, the morning seemed even cool, since we landed at 5 am (local time).
We left the luggage at the reception, took to change into hand luggage, because we knew that no one would check us in at 7 in the morning, and went to the beach.

On the way we saw a restaurant with awesome panoramic sea views). We decided to go in for breakfast (without bracelets, they put them on at 10:00), and ate successfully, because we were worried that we might be asked to leave without bracelets, but no one did), the same thing was given to us at the beach bar by the sea no problem! On the beach, they immediately got burned, although not white-skinned, and this was at 9 in the morning!
So very carefully, the thermometer was only +28, but the sun bakes strongly, I don’t even say when it’s +38 and more. It is better to be in the shade.

The beach is beautiful, clean, there are enough sunbeds for everyone, the queue was often at the bar, but it moved quickly, the staff tried hard, it was evident in all the bars and restaurants.
Sutra on the beach, the Italian animation worked perfectly, it was very fun and noisy (you can’t see ours behind them, they didn’t even try, although the guys and girls are good.

And yes, the staff really pays more attention to the Italians, there are more than half of them in the hotel, sometimes it was not pleasant, honestly ...I see everyone writes about this in reviews about the hotel. Well, okay, this will not spoil the rest).

Let's go back to the state of the rooms, they settled us exactly at 14:00, we saw some of our bus before they settled, already after 12:00). We went into the room and immediately did not like a certain smell of fungus ...not pronounced, but still there ((The room itself is nothing, but the bathroom clearly needs repair.

Everything would be fine, but the cleaning in the rooms for a stretched 3-ku somewhere (And although the guys who cleaned the rooms (Egyptians were not visible at all from the staff, only men) did it daily, the quality of cleaning leaves much to be desired (( to score on old furniture, smell or plumbing in need of repair, but if it were clean it would be nice, but we are ordinary people, we didn’t go, we didn’t complain, we only asked to see another room, which we were not refused, but it turned out to be the same), and they always left a dollar in the room, for which they twisted swans out of towels ...a trifle, but nice).

The staff also likes our chocolates or seeds as a tip).

Well, I think everything is clear with the numbers, the same thing is in public toilets, it was not always cleaned, roofing felts were poorly cleaned and the smell is not very pleasant, it is also a little dusty in the passages ...
they were in no hurry to wipe the tables at the bars) well, in general, this is probably the only drawback, basically the hotel is good, and it doesn’t pull 5 *, but 4 * for sure, I’m speaking as an agent from the organization of tourism (by education).

The Internet is of course only at the reception, and that is bad. Therefore, upon arrival at the periportal, we immediately bought a SIM card with the Internet ($ 10). It will be the same in the city, so feel free to take it straight to the airport so that you can immediately be in touch, and yes, it also works in Europe.

Another unpleasant moment was with our tour guides from Anex tour, they are rude and disrespectful to our tourists, I heard conflicts more than once on the raised voices of the guide - a tall Egyptian, I don’t remember the exact name, and yes, if you don’t buy at least one tour from them , you will have to listen to what Ukrainians are greedy!
That was a very unpleasant moment, but we didn’t want to change our vacation for some kind of conflict, so we decided to just ignore it and took a tour from them, after which they began to apologize for their behavior, everything was clear right away, too, anyway.

Yes, if you travel a lot and go to expensive hotels, and you were sent to Reef oasis beach, it won’t surprise you much, you might not like it at all) but don’t worry, because you are really in one of the best hotels in Sharm, and there are a lot of them few.


And I want to end on a very pleasant moment. This is, of course, the beach in this hotel, a colorful coral reef, fish of unreal colors and other marine life that can be seen right off the coast ...And the sea! The sea is unrealistically blue and turquoise...so beckoning that you forget where you are and what you are, and just enjoy your vacation, also this white sand mmm...
