Were in this hotel from 18 to 25 October 2010. The hotel is very pleased.
They settled us within an hour and a half, without straining. I immediately arranged for the reception to give the room not a standard, but a better one, for which they paid an extra $200. As a result, they gave me a room (No. 172) in the courtyard where the Italians live, not far from the sea. The view from the room to the pool is beautiful. The only thing in the rooms is really tired furniture and personally in ours the faucet in the shower did not work well. Well, as they say, we didn’t come to look at the number, so we didn’t bother at all, the main thing is that the air conditioner worked perfectly. The hotel is very large and beautiful, I advise you to carry a card with you (it is given along with the keys). The sea is below the hotel, electric cars for the lazy people drive throughout the territory (we only rode 2 times on the last day). The beach and the sea are really cool. The most important thing is that there are no currents and winds and there is not even such a type of red flag as in many other hotels. The pontoon is short, which is very good. There is a sandy entrance to the water, where you can swim with small children. The reef is very beautiful and lively. During the day, tourists on ships constantly stop for snorkeling, which are on their way to the Ras Mohammed reserve. And late in the evening there are always a couple of boats, diving types are performed. I would not climb into the water in the evening))) At least on the pontoon, where the backlight is, "lionfish" are constantly teeming there.
The food is good. There are 3 free restaurants on site. Main restaurant with shared kitchen, grill restaurant and Italian. The food is very good in the main restaurant. There were several times at the grill at dinner, but something was not right, all the food seemed to be a little unfinished, in general, you can’t lick your fingers (but breakfast and lunch are done well there, but for some reason dinner is worse). In Italian, only dinner, it is cooked deliciously, but we got tired of the restaurant the second time, well, this is our personal opinion. But I’m surprised at the Italians who eat their pizza and pasta at home, and come here to eat their pizza and pasta, for example, I’m Russian going to Egypt without slurping borscht))) In the main restaurant they always cook well, only in the evening kebabs are not very good, they don’t know how to make them, too thick pieces of meat are fried, which in the end are tough and underdone)))

There are many and different pools on the territory of the hotel, indeed you will not find everything at once. But the main highlight is a personal water park !! ! Let there be only 3 slides, but good, working ones. There is a paid water park next to our hotel (15 minutes on foot). We spent the day there, but the slides there are not all good. In general, outside the hotel there is where to take a walk, the residential area of ​ ​ Haddaba and the Old Market. Naama Bay is about 10 km away. A taxi to Naama costs 5 dollars, don’t go more expensive, and negotiate with a taxi driver for 5 dollars and say that you will pay in pounds, then he will take 25 pounds, and this is not 5, but less, because. the exchange rate is 5.7 pounds per dollar, and they simply round it up to 5 pounds per dollar)))
The hotel staff is good, I didn’t notice any racial discrimination at all (I always stood in line with everyone and didn’t make concessions to anyone), and that I have a green bracelet, that the Italians have. Other colors seem to be given to those who live in expensive rooms.
There are several bars, but we always sat in the main one, it is round-the-clock. The bartenders know a little Russian. The first time one says: "Russian? Fuck? ", so I gave him a tip of 5 pounds twice and he became my friend, I no longer stood in line at the bar, he himself came up with a tray and asked what to bring me, and constantly when he saw me, he said: "Hi, friend! " ))) So you have to do the service yourself, and it's inexpensive)))
And last but not least, animation. Of course, we realized late that animation should be involved. Among the animators were two from Ukraine, the guy Alex and the girl. On the penultimate day, I took part in almost all Alexovsky animations. Liked.
In general, as they say, next time we will be smarter. I would visit this hotel again without hesitation. You can easily go there with small children. In general, feel free to go, this money is 100% worth it.
