Rested three of us with a child of 8 years in February 2020.
Pros: amazing sea, magnificent reef with beautiful fish, excellent beach with a convenient entry even for children, well-made pantone, large area with beautiful cacti, agaves and palm trees, magnificent view from the window (room 8257), convenient infrastructure (30 min walk in one way - Old Market, 10 min walk to the other - El Merato)
If you are going for a warm windless sea, for a reef, to enjoy snorkeling and the sun - you are definitely here. The bay is well protected from the wind and even at +18 it was bearable to get out of the water. The water itself did not fall below 21.

There are cons, but they were not critical for us: the number of rooms froze in the 90s, although this did not bother me much - the beds were soft, the linen was white. They removed the same average, that for a dollar tip, that without a dollar. In the shower room, black hair left over from previous tourists lay on the wall and floor all week - the cleaner did not touch them on principle. There is only one heated pool, loud Italian animation, which can be heard even with the windows closed from 22 to 24:00. The water park is also unheated - they could not visit it because of the icy water, although it worked all the time. But some walruses still rode down the slides.
Monotonous and very meager food - you will not remain hungry, but if someone is waiting for luxurious dishes here, like in Turkey, he will be very disappointed: every day is the same. The only thing that was tasty: breaded chicken and fish fillet. Also a lot of edible pasta, potatoes, vegetables, pizza. Excellent cappuccino in the coffee machine. A day later, sushi was served, but non-Italians are given 3-4 pieces per person - no more. Same thing with ice cream. Behind him, you have to stand in line, and the cook puts these two balls on you with an air as if you are asking him for an apartment in Cairo. Beef is just a disaster. I could not pierce the "fried" piece with a fork. Muffin (buns, croissants, halva) is very decent, but the cakes are the same and equally tasteless - the biscuits are not soaked at all, so when you eat the cake, it seems that the soaking is separate, and the rest is separate.
2 weeks before our arrival, Gioconda closed - the third restaurant, which was near the reception. The grill bar also ceased to be free - it was converted into La Carte with a one-time free visit, but it is of no quality - we visited and were disappointed - the same tasteless beef and the same salads.
Conclusions: Would we return here? Definitely yes! For us with a child, the main thing was the presence of excellent nature, reef and sea, and not a licked room and "Turkish" food. We got all this in abundance and are absolutely not disappointed with the trip!
