We bought a standard room, as in all previous trips to Egypt... But the hotel has only 2 buildings with standard rooms: 7 and 5 buildings. We were originally settled in building 7 on the second floor. There is a swimming pool right next to the building, but there were no people there at all, which initially alerted....There was also a diving center building near the building, where they stored their equipment... In general, the place is empty, I didn’t have tourists there at all during the first day saw. In short, the building is located in the very ass of the hotel, where there is nothing and no one.
The room. . . It is large, spacious, with a large closet and a large bed. But! There were not enough towels in the room. The refrigerator didn't work at all. The drain plug in the sink was broken and the water would not drain. The phone didn't work. In general, I was furious about all this. I couldn't call reception because the phone didn't work. I had to go back to them. She announced all the damage and promised to fix it. Within 4 hours, different people came and each corrected the breakdown for which he was responsible.
By evening, I could not stand it and at the reception asked us to move to another building and a better room. We were told. that if we want a superior room, then for it you need to pay extra 6 dollars per person per day, i. e. that's another $96 for 8 days. Tried to "negotiate" - failed. Pay $96 or you won't get a number. Well, we agreed. . . But!! ! There are NO Svobodnye rooms Superior-NO!!! ! Come tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, maybe something will be released. Those. you are already ready to pay as much as they want, but there is no number right today either.
the next day, after considering everything, we decided not to pay extra and move to the standard room only in another building for free - 5th, room 5128. My husband had a problem with his leg, so we agreed to a room on the first floor. The room was much smaller than in the 7th building, it was just tiny, with a small closet and the bed was smaller. The most terrible thing is that the window did not face the courtyard, but the road. It was not possible to sleep, every hour a humming bus with tourists passed or a tuff tuff was running which was also loud. The air conditioner in the room was of an old model, the temperature in it was not set, it was only possible to make the power stronger or less. It turns out there was a vicious circle - you turn on the air conditioner, you open the balcony door - you can’t sleep because of the noise of buses, you close the balcony door - it becomes cold. It was a nightmare, I slept in earplugs the whole vacation.

The conclusion of all this....take a superior room IMMEDIATELY!
Nutrition. Everything was delicious and quite varied.

Slides near the pool. Of the three slides, only 2 worked and they do not work all day. 10 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm.
Taxi. Taxis stand near the first barrier, it takes 5-7 minutes to walk from the main entrance. The driver negotiates the cost there and back. We went to Naama Bay and the old city for 10 dollars (price for round trip).
