I stayed at the Reef Oasis Blue Bay hotel from October 23.2025 to November 1.2025. I liked the hotel itself. For Egypt, it's a good 4-star.
A beautiful reef, a short pontoon, decent food, but not much variety, and the entertainment isn't particularly exciting, but overall, it's okay. A minibus runs around the hotel, so if you're staying further from the sea, it won't be a big inconvenience. The alcohol is local, and the lobby bar is open 24 hours.
What I didn't like and was disappointed with was the division of us (I'm Lithuanian, but I'm writing "US" because I share the same mentality and views as Russians) into primary and secondary. Probably a third of the Italians who vacation here are Italians, and the way the staff kisses their asses is sickening to watch.

I'm a volleyball player myself. The hotel description says there are two volleyball courts. But in reality, we Russians can only play on one of the courts, which is much worse than the other. Imagine, our court almost always has 18-20 people, while the second court, which has a professional net and is better off with sand, is constantly empty (we played there four times during my stay). When we had four teams, we went to play on the second court. The animators kicked us out, arguing that this court was for Italians, even though we explained that as soon as the Italians came to play, we would leave immediately. They kicked us out anyway, and of course, not a single Italian showed up. After that, I got indignant and asked the hotel manager to tell me. I emailed them, asking why the Italians have such a good court and they almost never play, while our court is so much worse when 20 people gather. How are we any worse than the Italians? And, as you can imagine, the hotel completely ignored us. So, for those interested in volleyball, I've briefly described the situation. And if you're a more serious gamer, try to go after the autumn children's holidays, as the kids really want to stop the adults from playing, but they're kids, you can't kick them out. I'm giving the hotel a failing grade for discriminating against Russians regarding the playground. Otherwise, the hotel is good by Egyptian standards.
